"Me and my partner stayed here for the night and we was very impressed. We was greeted amazingly well, and shown to our room which was equally as amazing. The location is great, not far from many things to do, and the pub is nicely decorated quite and well looked after. The food was brilliant, our only critique was the fact portions were huge and we struggled to get through them. But flavour and presentation was exceptional. The staff were attentive and nothing seemed to much for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again!"

"Exceptional !!! We discovered Twenty9 last year after simply calling in for lunch in the bar. We fell in love with it and decided to celebrate our special wedding anniversary there. love the quirky venue, so much thought put into every detail. Spotlessly clean, the staff are outstanding, food was delicious. Our stay at Twenty9 made our 25th wedding anniversary so memorable. We are moving to North Norfolk and would not look anywhere else now to spend all our special occasions going forward. Thank you to everyone for making us feel special. "The night started well, great place, great decoration, nice welcome. Lovely waitress. But sadly the food was a let down. Dry pigs cheek. Over cooked haddock, rubbery steak and poor attitude from the owner/manager. No customer service whatsoever. Left standing in restaurant while he went off to talk to the kitchen. It was us that weren't pleased with the food and that should have been good enough. We offered to pay for our drinks and after a lengthy wait we left paying for nothing. After 3 phone calls from him and no apology he is reporting us to the police for doing a runner. We are in our 60s and can't run anywhere! He could have made the evening great by treating us properly, but insisted there was nothing wrong with our food as he had tasted it. I hope he enjoyed it more than we did. It seems the customer couldn't have an opinion and should eat whatever is put in front of them."
