"I went here for a birthday celebration after walking around this very charming village by the sea. The interior is charming. The dining area is covered by a trellis upon which vines grow. There were leaves all over the floor, as they fall down from the vines growing above. There is, consequently, natural lighting from above. The service was a little chaotic. The first person who waited on us took our order for a meat paella. After about ten minutes, somebody else came back and told us that there was no meat left to make this. We changed our order to a seafood paella. We had, however, already ordered a first course which had shrimp. So, we would end up eating shrimp twice, which was a bit redundant, and we weren 't happy about that. We weren 't asked if that would be a problem. Then, the staff came back and told us that they didn 't have ingredients to give us everything for the first course, the Saltat d 'escamarlans d 'Arenys, gambeta, gírgola i calamar (a stir-fry of large prawns, smaller prawns, girgola mushrooms and calamari) Now, the title in the menu said escamarlans in plural, and all we got was one . But we ended up eating prawns for our first course and then prawns again for the second course. Things took a long time to get served. It seems the kitchen was overwhelmed as was the staff. At one point, the staff in charge came to apologize to us, accompanied by the other staff person, and she used the wrong name to address her employee. She could not remember the name of her staff member. She laughed about people having strange names in front of us. This, I found quite insulting to laugh in front of clients about your employee 's first name. The food was quite good; however, we were disappointed by the chaos, the time it took to serve food, and the mismatch between the name of the dish and what was actually served on the plate."
