"We came across this restaurant by chance when we were actually on the way to a pizzeria the delicious smell immediately attracted us! I was able to convince my girlfriend, who is a bit skeptical about Indian food, to eat here with me. She doesn't like spicy food, but the friendly service even let us try the sauces in advance, which really impressed her. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, the dishes came quickly and were fantastically prepared. We had the butter chicken and the tandoori chicken both were not only delicious, but also served very nicely. The appetizers were also a highlight. We are so happy to have ended up here and totally understand all the good reviews! If you are in Calpe you should definitely try this restaurant. Absolute recommendation!"

"dinner on Tuesday in full August, all full, it is almost necessary to reserve to secure you table. the food of the service though it is true that there was a certain overflow as it had rained and everything outside was wet. We ask for the goat cheese salad, shrimp croquettes, very good duck magret, and entrecot (too much salsa but very good.) of dessert tiramisu and brownie (not recommending them.) in short, they lack a point to be a top restaurant, lack a better service and knowledge of dishes and detail with the comensal, and in our opinion improvement in desserts and in the salsa could not enjoy, with few improvements would be a top restaurant! Dinner was on the terrace with an environment and a difficult environment to improve."

"We thought we were enjoying a very good meal in this gastronomic restaurant and there surprise we were put aside because we did not choose the tasting menu. We prefer the map. Well the customers who take the card are punished we ask for real champagne by the glass... the waitress serves us cava, telling us that it was champagne! Either given the price of the haircut, she really made fun of us! Not even 4€! Then I decide to take the fish from the market, I ask what is this fish and she just says from the sea bass sauce I will come back and vegetables too! My husband decides to have the meat.. order placed. The waitress comes back and tells us that for the meat we have to wait 25 minutes!!!!! A sketch ! Why she didn 't tell us when taking the order and or why it 's not written on the card. Really big disappointment! Luckily the wine was good and well advised! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Update 2021: Kitchen Service team has completely changed in summer 2021 shortly after this I had a really bad experience when visiting with friends (food was okish, service was absolutely terrible and I had to state this rather clear) and the management apologized after this incident. I went back in October and it was better, however the food is not where it used to be and prices seem rather steep now. The location is exceptional as usual and just for this I'll try again to see if they managed to improve. For now it's a 4/5 for me (prior a 5/5). Update 2018: I go at least once whenever I'm in the city. That is usually 3 5 times a year. The crew never stops to impress with different tastes, exceptional service and a warmhearted welcome. Be it the food or the superbly selected wines it really is an experience to dine there. Apart from the food, wine and the people working there, what also sets them apart is the location. The calmness up there is amazing you can really get out of the buzzing streets and the heat (at least during summer) and take a deep breath, enjoy the view over the city and into the sea and just relax. This restaurant is superb on an international level. You have to check it out!"

"Ya es mi restaurante favorito. Hemos comido menú de domingo 23€ más bebida. Tempura de verduras, muy buena, no era aceitoso, ensalada de lechuga, salmón ahumado aguacate y mango. A mí gusto el mango no pega nada con esta ensalada y gambas al ajillo con un huevo, muy buenos, pero le faltaba más ajo y la guindilla. De segundo arroz de bogavante. Se puede pedir seco, meloso o caldoso. El mejor que ha probado, el bogavante fresco el caldo casero, espectacular. Eso Sí, me lleve un chasco con el postre, la tarta de queso con mermelada de higos, muy muy buena y trozos generosos, pero la tarta de chocolate de chocolate no tenía nada, más bien era tarta de turrón o leche merengada, pero chocolate... Ni una gota. Eso sí estaba buena, pero no era lo que me apetecía CHOCOLATE. El personal, todos muy amables y profesionales. Gracias,"

"Fui de cena con mi pareja y estuvimos súper agusto , ROBERTO el camarero el mejor de todos hace del lugar un sitio agradable y familiar , comimos un plato de comida India estaba delicioso, también comimos un tartar de atún muy rico un sabor muy bueno , estuvimos agusto, el precio está genial tomamos variedad de platos y alguna copa de vino y la cena salió alrrededor de 50€ (dos personas) LO RECOMIENDO. "3.5/5 a decent restaurant in Calpe. A restaurant we return to every year, it’s nice… and merits 3.5/5. We always go for a menu which has increased a lot in price, now over 28€. Owned by Dutch so it does cater for Dutch tourists. Croquettes to start are delicious along with bread. We had mussels (13 to be precious in serving) and goats cheese salad (they have halved the size of goats cheese fried pate compared to earlier in summer) to start. Probably the best course of the meal. Veg soup small portion after. We had tuna and fish n chips. Both just nice. Dessert cheese cake and dame Blanche. Waitress was lovely. Menu does not include wine. We will go back next year however there are other restaurants that are superior for price however it’s worth a try if staying a week or more in Calpe"

"I encourage all those who live in Calpe and tourists who visit the town to eat in this place. we go several times every time we come to calpe and we always love it. Although it usually has a fixed letter, they update it every time to change dishes or introduce a new one. is an international restaurant that has always had different dishes known in the European cuisine, with Indonesian touches on one of the dishes and with a personal touch. After the pandemic and the descent of tourists in calpe, they have been able to adapt and a few months ago they introduced new snacks, incomings and different delicious dishes, have an offer suitable for all pockets, with more elaborate and blunt dishes and others in snack version for a snack, a snack or a more informal dinner. In recent weeks we have gone several times and we have tried some of the dishes of always and other news. you can go to make a formal and delicious meal (meats, fish, salads, pastas) or opt for something more informal based on inners/tapas, snacks and others. In our last visit I decided to eat a bacon snack with blue cheese and I was very surprised by the combination and see that they are not limited to putting blue cheese and bacon but also carrying vegetables inside and as a companion on the dish, which gives it a delicious touch. a very juicy snack and balanced flavors. in other places they limit themselves to putting the ingredient they say and already but this snack I loved and it was special. apart, the onion soup has always prepared it delicious (densa and with its bread and cheese cover, very good). Chicken wings are brutal, crispy, tasty and well done inside. and as always, the chicken/sleep with peanut saté, ribs, the peanut chicken, the goat cheese salads or tomato. All we've asked for is very good. I have a special affection for this restaurant since the day we met him for causality through the opinions of tripadvisor of other users and became my favorite of lime. Furthermore, all the staff is always very friendly."

"Having waited nearly two years to visit Calpe our first stop was el posit.......thought we'd maybe expected two much after so long ....how wrong was I ,it was as wonderful as I remembered ....somuch so we booked again for later in the week ...we ate from the set menu one night and the a la carte the second night ....both are excellent value but again difficult to fit in a sweet after 2 courses on the a la carte but squeezed one in on the set menu ....was fabulous.....I can't believe such quality food is such a reasonable price .I'm only sorry it's so far away !! Love it !!"

"La Piemontesa is a lovely restaurant on the beach front at Calpe, it’s currently low season and we still had to book which shows how popular it is. We had the mixed focaccia to start with which came with a chilli oil and truffle oil all of which was lovely, this was followed with Risotto and beef, penne with truffle oil and penne arrabiata , all the dishes were lovely but the pasta in truffle oil was the best, no room for dessert sadly but they had a good selection to pick from. The restaurant is well situated and has a pleasant modern feel, the service was very good and the price was fair coming in at €80 for the three of us."

"Hemos comido allí tres personas, hasta no poder mas por 85€. El mismo personal nos ha sugerido el menú, preguntándonos por nuestros gustos, en cuanto a cantidad de picantes, tipo de carne preferida y demás. Menos mal porque tienen una carta muy extensa y no sabíamos por donde empezar. Han preguntado en todo momento si todo estaba a nuestro gusto y han estado muy pendientes de si faltaba algo en la mesa. Nos han hecho sentir muy a gusto la verdad. Un lugar muy recomendable para degustar platos diferentes."

"Restaurante ubicado en el Casco Viejo de Calpe. Después de haber probado unos cuantos, puedo decir que es de lo mejorcito que hay. Carta sencilla con comida elaborada y producto de calidad. Precios muy asequibles. A destacar el pan con ali-oli casero hecho por Felipe, delicioso. También probamos patatas al vapor con salsa picante, dátiles con bacon y champiñones rellenos de gambas, todo para repetir. Atención muy correcta, el servicio habla inglés también. Muy recomendable!!"

"Pasa un poco desapercibido por su ubicación, por lo menos entrando desde la avenida y no desde la playa. Hemos comido allí y aunque hemos llegado un poco tarde, nos han atendido igual. Resulta confuso que se llame Restaurante-Buffet , y que no haya buffet. Explicado por el personal: lo habilitan en los meses de verano, mientras que el resto del año ofertan varios menús a elegir. Pedimos el propio del día, también el más básico, así que no puedo opinar de lo más gourmet : una ensalada a compartir muy correcta, así como pan con alll i oli, el pan estaba recién sacado del horno; unas lentejas caseras a las que les hubieran sentado bien algún trozo de carne o verdura, aunque buenas de sabor; unos macarrones bolognese sencillos pero ricos; y de segundos, un plato combinado de merluza con algo de verduras, zanahorias baby, me gustó; y una carne, lomo en salsa con patatas fritas, que fue lo que más bueno me estaba, aunque la ración un poco justa de cantidad, que no de calidad. El vino, para ser de menú, que por cierto está incluido, estaba mejor de lo que esperaba de un Utiel Requena joven. Cayó entero. El menú incluía postres. Gran variedad, la mayoría de ellos caseros. Natillas correctas, aunque una crema/mousse de coco estaba más original. El café también correcto. El servicio muy bueno, nos atendieron tres personas, una de las cuales la dueña/gerente. Muy atentos, rápidos y serviciales."

"We have been coming here for many years and after a gap of 3 years, looking forward to coming again. The place has doubled in size since our last visit, but that is not the only change. The food was average at best. Our orders were taken wrongly which meant me and my sister in law had to eat ours after the other 5 in our group had finished. This was not reflected in the final bill. Previously the food has been prepared and cooked with care, this time the Lumberjack pork steak was dry and tough, my son said his steak tasted like a supermarket one and my wife's lamb skewers were lacking taste and sauce. What a pity that a once great restaurant now appears to have gone downhill. I can only assume it is because of the change of ownership. I wouldn't say to avoid the place as some will like it, but we won't be coming back again..."

"Sitio bonito, acogedor, bien decorado pero la comida no está a la altura del precio. El tartar de salmón soso, el risotto nada cremoso y poco sabor, el solomillo trinchado escaso, te lo traen partido en trocitos y parece cualquier cosa menos un solomillo de ternera, las croquetas escasas para su precio y los mejillones sosos para ser una recomendación. El foe con manzana estaba rico. Los postres también decepcionan. En resumen, demasiado caro para la calidad y cantidad de los platos"
