"Staying on a campsite near this little village we decided to have an evening meal here. We were the only ones apart from a couple of locals having an aperitif. From the small chalkboard menu (4 starters, 4 mains, 4 desserts) we chose the salade chevre and charcuterie for starters, lamb shank and the burger revisite (rosti instead of bread rolls and blue cheese) for mains and the chocolate fondant for dessert. It was all fine, but nothing special. The lamb was a bit dry and the burger was very heavy. Good frites and potato gratin, OK fondant (not home made). It lacked a bit of love that could have made these simple dishes very nice. Fine if you want a quick simple eat but for something a bit more refined you'd have to go someplace else."
