"If your looking for a simple family restaurant with quick simple Italian food then you could try this place, but I would still look elsewhere. We ordered the pasta with gorgonzola cheese sauce, broccoli, and chicken, garlic bread, and a ceasar salad. The pasta was ample serving, but the quality was lack luster. The sauce was almost clear and seriously lacking flavor. The cheese garlic bread looked more like a naan bread, but with very little garlic. The salad was fine, they used the correct lettuce and the dressing had flavor. The restaurant overall just looked poorly cared for and unclean. The ladies bathroom was especially unclean and there is no heat in the bathrooms. The only good thing was the service which was good, but would definitely not return or recommend it."

"It should be a no star but that doesn't exist. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. A supermarket's own chicken soup is more spicy than the szechuan chicken. It was bland, tasteless and watery. The egg fried rice was just rice with a clumpy egg on the top of the rice when you opened the lid off the plastic container. The prawn crackers were not the freshest, and tasted as if a day old. All in all, a total waste of time and money. Avoid this place if you want anything that resembles an authentic Chinese dish. Reading previous reviews is helpful, and it's eye opening why there is no response from the restaurant on any of the feedback comments. I'd be mortified if I received any negative review and would want to correct things asap if I wanted to stay in business."

"It’s 1.30pm and we have booked a table at the Tivoli we walk in through the front door to an empty room. Surely Sunday lunch should be busy. We look through to the dining area to see a couple of tables occupied but are worried why it’s so quiet. We order drinks at the bar and the server is charming. The place is spotless and the bar well stocked. Then we are shown to our table and order Sunday lunches priced at £17 per head with extra for cauli cheese and then all becomes clear when the meals arrive . They are mean so mean my meat consisted of 1.5 slices of pork 3 roast potatoes. 1 carrot 1 parsnip and a spear of broccoli. All tasty and served hot but just not enough. They bag the pork out with a Yorkshire pudding and 4 minutes after delivery it all over. We then retreat to the garden to find the staff eating bowl of potatoes etc etc and I decide something is very much amiss here"

"Ordered a take out in time for the Boks vs Wales game. Having eaten Nando’s whilst living in South Africa (where it originates from) the food was of very poor quality. The chicken livers were chopped up with no sauce at all, the accompanying Portuguese roll which you’re supposed to use to soak up said non existing sauce didn’t arrive. The fives sticks of halloumi arrived as two skinny slices laid at the bottom of a large box of air. The grilled miele was only grilled in one stripe not all over and was over cooked and dry. The coleslaw wasn’t too bad. The boneless thighs were surprisingly dry and lack lustre. Over all the meal was very disappointing and a very pale comparison to the authentic Nando’s. Thank goodness the game didn’t disappoint!"

"We booked a table for 4 for 7.30pm, arrived 7.25 and it took 20 mins. to get severed for drinks. It got worse! We were finally shown to the table of a 20% full restaurant and 25mins later finally had the head waiter ask if he could take our order...with an attitude as if he was doing us a favour... We were so put off by the dirty, 'sticky ' tables and v slow service we told the waiter we were leaving, paid for our drinks and left. Never again will we go back!"

"We used to frequent this restaurant often because of the great food and kid-friendly atmosphere, with quick and friendly staff making it a good value. However, our recent experience on Mother's Day was disappointing. When my wife arrived slightly before me, the manager watched her struggle with a pram and did not offer to help. Additionally, half of the menu items were already sold out by noon. When the food did arrive, my wife's medium steak was overcooked and solid. The server did not address her concerns, and the service was slow overall. We were also overcharged, which I thankfully noticed before paying. It is disappointing to see the decline in the quality of the restaurant, likely due to a change in management. Our experience left us feeling ripped off and put a damper on our special occasion. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return to this restaurant."

"Hands down the best chicken shop in the southwest! Not only are the staff polite, professional and highly skilled but the food is divine. All meats, breads and dairy are fresh everyday and all meals are served to restaurant quality(I can tell this as I eat at alot of establishments) . You can be in for a long wait if getting delivery but it 's always worth the wait in the end. Although it 's a 'chicken shop ' the gourmet beef burgers are my favourite thing on the menu. Can 't forget the buy one get one free on pizzas aswell (always useful when moneys tight)... Literally a domino 's pizza for way less! While I 'm at it.. Give the milkshakes a try they make 'shakes to go ' look awful. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CHICKENZOS."

"We came here for a Father 's Day lunch. No draft beers but the bottled beers we had were lovely and cold. The building is stunning a beautiful old church which was what inspired us to book here in the first place. The staff were very attentive and really friendly, and the food was lovely. We were delivered an extra dessert by accident and rather than let it go to waste, we were given it for free. We really did have a lovely time, but what marred it was the fact they they take payment by card only which for us is a huge no no. £125 for the final bill and a £10 tip was on the little plate but it was refused because we only take cards oh, but we take tips in cash . Oh no you don 't. If you don 't want our cash to pay the bill, then you don 't want our cash in a tip. We usually boycott businesses that use this discriminatory method of pushing customers towards a cashless society, but because of the occasion we didn 't make a fuss, but I doubt we shall return which is a huge shame because we really did have a lovely time in a stunning setting. I felt bad not leaving a tip because the staff were lovely but this issue of card only payments needs to be mentioned in staff meetings and addressed by the company. It is discriminatory and lost them a reasonable sized tip. Customers should have a choice how they wish to pay. Cash is legal tender and not everyone has or wants to use cards. But for this one issue, the staff would have gotten their tip and this review would have been 5* instead of 4* and we would be looking forward to another booking."

"We were recommended to look at the Langton for a small family and friends lunch to celebrate our wedding and we weren't disappointed. We met with the staff to discuss what we were looking for and they couldn't of been more helpful nothing was too much trouble. The venue itself is stylish and well laid out there was an annex area off the restaurant which accommodated our party perfectly and provided a well laid out, private area. The menu choices were varied and excellent our guests provided us with their selections and we provided the Langton with a pre order 7 days before the lunch. There was a variety of selections but all the food was of very high quality, came out piping hot and at the same time. They were very helpful with the arrangements setting up our tables with flowers and place settings. On the day, the staff were warm and welcoming we received excellent, efficient and friendly service from all of them. The food itself was amazing and all our guests commented on the high standard and how much they enjoyed it. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Langton 10 /10 for us!"

"I have been using this takeaway on a regular basis for over 3 years. In that time I have gradually worked my way through a lot of the menu. I have never had a meal which has been less than excellent. The Dansak in particular is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, always happy to suggest a new dish or advise on flavours. I often have a delivery and the food is always piping hot and fresh. It has never been later than the advised delivery time. In a word,brilliant. I highly recommend this business. Well done lads."

"Me and my boyfriend went for our 5th year anniversary meal. They messed our booking up as we had to cancel our first booking but they were under different email addresses and we were told they had sorted it. We arrived to a woman who eventually gave us a table after we had tried to explain they had cancelled the wrong booking even though I had emailed from a different email address and they had confirmed the previous one has been cancelled the day before we made the second booking, she still told us it wasn’t the restaurant fault and we weren’t bothered as accidents happen… The food was average at best, nothing special what so ever, I got the fish and chips and the fish was extremely greasy and I found some black plastic in my fish, however I did not complain as I have good manners and didn’t want to cause an issue as we were there for a celebration. My boyfriend has allergies and could not eat coleslaw so we asked for it to be removed…his burger arrived with coleslaw inside!!! Luckily I had realised and warned him before something serious happened and we asked for a replacement which took 15 minutes! I had almost finished my meal by that point. I ordered a sticky toffee pudding and it was completely dry inside, I was struggling to get my spoon through it and we did not finish it. The cocktail and beer was average and overpriced. Paid for a coke, came in a small glass with more ice than anything and wasn’t even half a can. The most strange thing was that when we asked for the service charge of £8 to be removed…a very old woman with short hair and large glasses and clearly a temper issue came over and spoke to us horribly and questioned why we had asked for it to be removed. I told her the fish I got was very greasy and the cake was very dry, she did not like my honest reply and started to raise her voice which was very unprofessional, I was so shocked with her tone of voice and then she of all people asked us to leave when we refused to pay the service charge and I told her it was discretionary as it said on the menu. Disgusting treatment from what I’m assuming is the manager and I’ve seen other reviews now that have complained about the same woman. Honestly so disappointing as we went for a celebration and someone had to ruin a nice day for us, hope she gets some help with herself or finds a job more suited to her hopefully away from members of the public. "Although the food was outstanding it is a bit over priced. The worst part of our experience was the lack of service. We were a party of two that was basically forgotten among the larger tables. We stopped three staff members to ask for more water. We never received it. After we finished our meal we sat there with all the mess and dirty plates. Had to flag down another staff member for our bill. She promptly returned and we paid out and left."

"We were a party of 5 booked for 7pm. It was a busy Saturday evening and the staff, although working to capacity, were cheerful, friendly and efficient. We ordered our food via the app and all our dishes were served promptly, which was surprising considering how busy they were. The food was good and hot, but maybe watch out for the stuffed mushrooms (which are great) as they're served in cast iron dishes which are very hot indeedVery enjoyable evening and the staff were great, but we'll perhaps avoid dining early evening on a Saturday in future."

"We’ve just had the most delicious curry at Curry Corner. This is authentic Indian cuisine made with beautifully fresh ingredients. The curry’s have texture and have lots of flavour. We don’t normally opt for deserts after having a curry but since our little boy was with us, he wanted to try their ice-cream and OMG it’s incredible. The pistachio ice-cream is unbelievable, in fact so good I told the owner she should have a little ice-cream stall too. Just to add they are all homemade. We went on to try the orange and coconut too and they were equally as good. The service throughout was warm and welcoming too. All in all a lovely dinner out and we will return again. "Really good food! I had low expectations, given other Italian chains and the one time I'd been before, but these turned out to be way off! Only 4*s, not 5, as it was really let down by the speed of service. The service staff were really friendly and pleasant, but we ended up spending in excess of 2hrs there. They were fully booked, but only has three staff. While our orders were correct, albeit slow, while we were there two other people had issues; these were sorted out quickly, and with offers of free drinks while waiting for one and the main free for the other, so very respectful! They were turning people away, so if they'd had more staff and got the food out faster, they'd have actually has a higher turn over and so would've been more profitable to have more staff! In summary, the food was excellent and the staff very good... Just need more staff! Still 100% recommend :"
