"We visited the fox and barrel early evening on a Sunday, we booked on the back of a recommendation from a friend, I checked out the recent reviews on here that confirmed it was well worth a visit. Really excellent standard of food and service, both myself and my Wife couldn’t fault it, well, maybe the Yorkshire puddings could have been a bit crisper, but that’s it, and even though they could have been better, it doesn’t warrant marking this establishment down to just very good. We also thought it was really good value for money. 3 drinks, 2 starters and 2 Sunday lunches, one chicken and one lamb. The place was pretty much full, which speaks for itself, we will definitely return and recommend to our friends and business contacts."
