"Gorgeous food, last time I ate here was over 30 years ago, will definitely not be waiting that long before we return. There were 20 of us dining, celebrating a bday Table booked 7.00 starters came out 7.45, a long wait. We hadn't ordered a starter didn't want to add any more pressure in ordering another starter so order some chips as we were hungry guessed it would be at least another 40 mins before mains would be served. Mains serviced around 8.30-9.45.We had Seabass, gorgeous. We were eyeing up others chicken pie, which we were told was really lovely; so will go back to try that out. Puddings were very nice. Forgot to take pics of food as too busy talking but they did a happy birthday pud for our friend, nice touch. No music so not much of an atmosphere, not sure if they usually play music, I'm guessing not. We were a large group so we really didn't need any back ground noise. Waitresses did a good service but were rather miserable in my opinion, not very welcoming considering we were spending a small fortune. Drinks as you would expect were expensive £11 for a glass of Malbec, but it was really nice, easy to drink. Chairs were uncomfortable, some sort of lattice effect my delicate derriere was still sore the following evening. Beer garden looked nice. Lovely building clean toilets. Despite the wait the chef kitchen staff are an asset to this business, well done Parking: Seemed to be enough parking spaces"

"We arrived in Northampton looking for something to eat, and we were enticed by the lunch menu that seemed outstanding value for money; just for under ten pounds, I could get anything from their lunch menu and a soft drink or small beer or small glass of wine which I thought was a bargain. We decided on having two glasses of coca cola, and my partner opted for the Polpette GL, which was spaghetti with homemade beef meatballs cooked in a divine herby tomato sauce. I was a little jealous because the meatballs were delicious. I did ask for Funghi DL GY, which was meant to be spaghetti in a creamy garlic sauce with mushrooms, but i ended up getting a pizza. Upon looking at the menu, i could see that both names were the same, meaning the waiter probably misunderstood and gave me a mozzarella cheese, tomato and mushroom pizza instead of the spaghetti i originally wanted. I was hesitant to bring the pizza back to the kitchen, so i decided to try it, and i am glad i did. The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the flavour was terrific. Perfectly seasoned, i decided just to let the waiter know of the confusion; he was very kind to offer to redo the food again so i could have the original meal, but i decided against it. After our meal, we were offered desserts, and my partner decided on homemade Tiramisu. I went for the prosecution and strawberry cream cheesecake, and both were nice. It was served on its own without cream as it traditionally is done but wasn't needed because it was incredibly fresh. We arrived here on Friday afternoon, and there were plenty of seats, and they were all immaculate, and the decor was charming, and i could see why people raved about this place. Vegetarian options: I could see that they mention in the menu that they can adjust any of the meals to suit the taste, so I do assume they can probably make anything to match your requirements"
