"Have visited this little cafe many times. Thought it was time it was listed here.No nonsense French cafe and bar in the centre of Duravel. Lunchtimes are always busy with a good mixture of local workmen and foreign tourists providing a good atmosphere..The lunchtime special is excellent value at 13euros ----Home made soup in a generous tureen.Self service buffet of charcuterie and salads. [Don't overdo it]Fixed Main course of meat or fish usually with potatoes and veg. Ample cheese board.Good choice of sweets.Coffee.Bread and wine included.The mother and daughter team provide a very efficient service and are always welcoming. Obviously the food varies from visit to visit but on occasions have had some memorable meals.Their simple French cooking often outshines many of the local quality restaurants charging twice the amount. Highly recommended if in the area.They maybe open some weekend evenings for dinner, but check."
