"Lovely pub with restaurant set in idyllic village. Beautiful inside and out. Some lovely carvings in the wood around the bar and fireplace. Open fire, good wines and very friendly landlord and bar staff. Has room with pool table and separate pretty restaurant. Food only available Wednesday to Sunday lunch time. Menu and bar menu to choose from. Best to ring as you may need to book. The village is stunning with little walks around a small river and cottages. Very atmospheric and peaceful. One other pub next door which is about to open and also has restaurant. It has been closed for some time and has been refurbished to a high standard. Small tearoom which looks quaint and small village car park."
