"Came across this cosy and cute little tea room from a google search. Was staying in the local area for a night and had just visited Frensham ponds. We called ahead and a polite person on the line answered our questions about foods on offer and I booked a table. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are in a place where people care and have passion. From the decor, the fresh flowers, the pretty furniture and smile on staff and customer faces. The food was fresh and tasty and came quickly, I had a cheese and onion chutney panini (See pic with a coffee and my wife had a Spinach and Goats cheese tart, the little man had a jacket potato with Cheese and beans on the side. Delicious, you could taste the fact it was made by someone's hands rather than chucked into a fancy heater or microwave. Kasha (the owner (apologies if I spelt the name wrong and her staff were lovely, we had small talk, medium talk (If there is such a thing and a long conversation as we were the last to leave. We were even gifted tiny hand made booties which are made by the Cook (She had left before we arrived otherwise I would have a name and a pic with the boy . Who does that!!! (See pic We left so happy from the Red Rose Tea Room and wish them nothing but happiness and success. A small place with a big heart. If you are thinking of going, go! We will back next time we are in the area."

"Lovely and clean restaurant, food was well cooked and came out fairly quickly and drinks the same. Our server was brilliant and ever so helpful, despite the busyness of the place! However, what brought the experience down was the rudeness from other staff. I understand that it was very busy, but staff pushed past us and other members of the public a few times. When I preempted our paths crossing and waited, having already been pushed past, staff didn't say thank you or even make mild eye contact. The only other thing I take issue with is the app we were advised to use. It's a good idea, but when placing a gluten-free filter on food, nothing came up. I had to bother our server, who was doing he best to keep everyone happy, and ask about gluten-free options. However, a second visit here was a very different experience! Kathy, who waited our table, was absolutely outstanding. It was a much more satisfying visit, and a more pleasant one! Fairly large car park, and parking is free. However, make sure you put in your license plate at the entrance to register, otherwise you will be ticketed as it's a private car park. Overall, it is a mixed dining experience. The food was great, the drinks were nice, the service was fantastic, but the other staff and lack of allegen options were problematic Parking: Parking is free, however you must put in your license plate at the entrance to the restaurant. If you don't, you will be ticketed as it's a private car park"
