"We stayed overnight here and so had both dinner and breakfast. We were the only ones eating in the dining room both times, so we felt as if the entire staff was there just for us. We were treated royally and the food was delicious....For dinner, we had Foie Gras,(I did not particularly care for this), for the main course we had Potato Gnocchi and for dessert Rum ba ba. We had the greatest wine, too. See photo for wine. For breakfast, we were served a huge basket of pastries for just two of us (wish we could have eaten all of them, they were so delicious), yogurt, omelet and fresh fruit. All was wonderful. Service was top notch. Atmosphere was great how could it not be in an authentic historic castle?"
