"We ended up in Faugères and Damejane by chance and the first time we only had a coffee and a glass of wine. We liked the small vaulted cellar so much that we reserved a table for lunch the next day. We were hoping to get authentic French cuisine here. We were rewarded with what we thought was a gourmet meal. The portions are not overly large, but appropriate for the price, so you could actually have a starter and dessert, which we really liked because you could really enjoy the menu. We spent almost 2 hours there. Quite long for Germans. . The cellar is designed with a lot of love. Everything was very well maintained. The young lady was very welcoming. They also spoke English, so we didn't have to torture anyone with our bad French. A big thank you from us to the kitchen and the great service."
