"About 2:00, we're in front of this restaurant. We stop to book for 2 people for the evening around 7:00. The server quickly tells us that it's okay but don't take our weird name! We arrived at 7:00 p.m., we didn't say we had booked, a person installs us and asks for information, he answers us that he doesn't know because he is not in the room. After 15 minutes, a waitress picks up our order. We ask if we will be served quickly because we have a night tour of the museum at 8:30 pm which is a few meters from the restaurant, she tells us that the service will be quick but that the cook is currently in the caps on the coast. We order a beer, a bottle of wine and our dishes. The wait is long to it is true that the cook is not yet there! Marine mussels and frozen fries, mussels without aromas. Fortunately we watched the desserts from the start because when the waitress came to get rid of our plates, we immediately ordered a caramel pancake, a chocolate pancake and 2 coffees. The wait is long to have desserts but less long than for dishes! On the other hand, the cafes were served while we just started our pancakes! We're gonna pay... a waiter doesn't want us to pay and says wait for her. She arrived well... but to get rid of the tables, to re-design tables, paid other customers who arrived after us at the caisse! This crêpery could be nice if the servers were less brouillons and better organized!"

"We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was a cool late August day and there were not many people out and about. In all I guess that there were about 5 separate tables of diners during our meal so calm and quiet. This restaurant is a short distance from the medieval city entrance to Guerande and shaped in a long narrow rectangle back from the entrance/reception. We received a rather reserved but acceptable reception and were quickly shown to our table for two; the rest of the service was like that. There was reasonable space between the individual two person tables so one would not have felt too crowded if the place had been busy. Following an aperitif we both opted for the "Salade Atlantique" which comprised toasted white bread, smoked salmon, crème ciboulette and balsamic dressed salad. This was all very fresh and plentiful. The main was "Pièce du boucher avec pommes frites et salade." Again, all very fresh, plentiful and served hot; the steak was properly cooked. We washed all that down with a demi of Merlot which was surprisingly good for "vin en carafe" and a lotcheaper that the bottles of wine which we found somewhat expensive. The only disappointment was the dessert, a "Crème Brulée" and "Fondant au chocolat" which, whilst fresh, were both lacking in flavour (we guessed they were bought in); the expresso wasn't great either. Conclusions - fresh and plentiful food but quite classical style without innovation so if that's what you want go for it but at a price! We used a voucher which reduced the cost but if we'd paid full price it would have been about €68 for two (not including drinks which were €21 extra) which I find expensive for that style of food and certainly costly if you are more than a couple."
