"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."

"This was probably one of the worse service experiences I've had at a restaurant. I booked a table for 8 for myself and some friends. The number dropped down to 6 but I wasn't able to advise the restaurant about this as it happened literally at the last minute. My friends were there when I arrived and immediately, i noted everyone was unhappy with the table we were given as it was right next to a window where the sun was beating as well as under an AC device that didnt hit our table at all. I asked if we could move to another table and the waiter blatantly said that we weren't important enough he said something quite unintegible about the table being booked for 8, to which I said we are now six and I wasn't able to advise as it had happened two hours before the booking start time. After that, whenever that waiter served us, it was very blatant that he was doing the minimum for us, such as dropping the cutlery rather loudly on the end of the table instead of placing it under whoever ordered the dessert. He was also hovering in a really creepy way around our table and then walking away. We considered not paying the service charge but decided against it as we didn't want the hassle and when other waitresses were serving us it was ok. The food was good hence the 1 star, but the service was way off all thanks to that waiter and not acceptable for a Friday evening and a big group of people. I tend to book tables for groups of 6 8 of us and Prezzo in Hornchurch has just proved themselves not worthy of this business."

"this is one of our regular and most popular restaurants to visit not only in our hometown hornchurch, but throughout the essex. we always enjoy great eating by chef craig and excellent service by manager giovanni. but I must say that our last visit on Sunday was just one of the best. we came to the usual kind greeting of giovanni before we sat on our table. we ordered an aperitif to give us the opportunity to view the menu. it was when giovanni came back not only with our drinks, but also with the specials in which we would be for a little surprise. unknown for us craig offered us the opportunity to have a charcuterie board and a bark carpaccio as starter options that we liked to accept. we then ordered a bottle of montepulciano D’Abruzzo to couple with the food. to the starters of a charcuterie board and beef carpaccio, both of which were absolutely fabulous. the carpaccio was accompanied with mushrooms, nuts parmesan, while besides the fabulous selection of meat were olives, sun-dried tomatoes, filled pfeffer, burrata salat. To be honest, everyone was a very joyful one. after a nice little break it was time for the main course where my wife enjoyed their favorite spaghetti bygole. for me I was for a real tasty as from the special table I chose the braised beef with broccoli creamy maic, which was absolutely fantastic and without doubt one of the best dishes that ever at da vinci. now it was time for desserts where my wife from the specials chose the cherry almond bombe while I had the classic tiramisu. accompanying this craig sent a heavenly lemon lime posset. we finished with a coffee to end a fabulous lunch. the eating of craig was amazing and the service was nothing else than they expect from giovanni and his team. that is really a restaurant that I would recommend and is also a good credit not only to my hometown of hornchurch, but also to the graphic essex. when we were asked for the bill, a free glass of basilius and harbour were sent to our table as the last lovely personal touch. many thanks to craig giovanni for an excellent lunch and look forward to many more visits in the future."

"No complaints from me! The food was delicious and importantly it was nice and hot. I used to be a chef in a 5 Marriott hotel and I enjoyed the meal. These are just some constructive comments for you to consider: Just a tiny little bit of greenery in the form of some salad leaves etc, served with the calamari would be a beautiful touch. The calamari itself was wonderful but… Very ”same-ish” and repetitive. Just break it up a bit with something else (a tiny amount) on the plate. It’s an 8 starter approx and you can do that without massively denting your margins. the seabass main dish that we both had… We thought was fantastic… So well done to chef Luke! Personally, I also appreciate the generous touch of providing me with a few more potatoes. I am a one diabetic and I know when I looked at the plate having injected, the very small amount of potatoes that were originally provided would not be enough for me…. So again I appreciate our lovely waitress Liga and Chef Luke combining to bring a more normal portion of the same potato dish so that I could eat it with my meal. Finally we were first seated in a booth… But unfortunately this was right underneath one of the speakers that played music. I asked the first waitress that had seated us if the music could be turned down. She told me that unfortunately she had no control over the music level. I think this needs to be changed as in the end we had to be moved… Music should be distinctly in the background and not invading your meal experience. It was too loud and also in my opinion not gentle but way too lively… We had come for a meal not to a nightclub! These are just constructive feedback points that I hope you will take in the spirit that they are intended. Our waitress was Liga. Now she is an absolute asset to your company… she went out of her way to accommodate us helped us to move tables when the music was too loud and sourced the extra potatoes for me for my main course. What I liked about Lea was that she treated us like individuals… Not just a number. She was personable and professional throughout a great ambassador for Zizzi And she deserves to be recognised for this. She made the meal experience the best it could be. Thanks Liga from Latvia The food tasted great. I’ve only given three stars rating to the atmosphere as the music didn’t help and there was I think only two other tables in the whole restaurant with us so it was a neutral atmosphere during that time. But we both enjoyed it and we will be back. Happy to discuss if you have any other Qs. Regards, Kevin p.s. not on your list below but we both highly recommend the Sea Bass dish. Perfecto !"

"This relatively new business has arrived in the local area and is extremely welcome, with its refreshingly different spin on the Coffee shop genre. 'Cafe' is 50 of the name but it's way more than that. If you are looking for a business that emulates...traditional breakfast and lunch 'CAFF' establishments, with chips, hashbrowns and beans in abundance, then Cafe Shot is not for you If you are looking for a clone of Costa or Starbucks, then , Cafe Shot is not for you. What Cafe Shot does provide, is a welcome fusion of the best parts of places that we all like to frequent. Excellent coffee is always on hand, freshly prepared in the most expert of barista hands using a magnificently gleaming (and scrupulously clean) Espresso machine, undoubtedly the pride of the hard working ownership team. Teas and Infusions are available in a great range A fine range of Sandwiches, including Paninis, Bagels and 'Toasties' is available, all ready to be made while you wait, or for those in a rush, some 'grab and go' favourites in the chiller are waiting to be snapped up. Beautiful salads can be hand crafted exactly to your requirements (no need to pick out the bits you didn't want!) , complemented with a number of Mediterranean and middle Eastern exotic spices, flavours and accompaniments. Healthy eating is high on the agenda here. As well as the hand prepared offerings, there are a number of convenience items such as vegetable and root crisps, organic juices and satisfying oatmeal packs. Mouthwatering cakes and sweet fare always tempt you too. You will not be able to pick up Pizza Slices, Cornish Pasties, Sugary Doughnuts, Sausage sandwiches and similar items here; those are readily available at a number of places within a 10 minute walk of Cafe Shot. But, if you enjoy, good quality, health conscious, unique tastes as well as extremely friendly service, then, you will have a good experience here. And, you will find like minded customers in there, many of them regular, who have already unearthed this new little gem. Just ask them. Eat in or take away; it's all great. Go and find out yourself"
