"a great place for authentic kerala cuisine. we stopped for dinner on a Sunday night. ambiente was really nice and pleasant, reflecting a traditional kerala environment. the staff was friendly and friendly. we had ordered uzhunnu vada, sea food platter and aubergine fry in the starters. all were super crispy and delicious! we had ordered appam, kerala parotta, thattu huhn, crab curry and fish in banana leaf. we also had their kerala biriyani, which was a winner tasted! all other dishes were also delicious and fill. the appams were cooked live and served hot fresh from the heart. this ensures that they get them hot and crispy delicious! highly recommended."

"Had a meal here tonight with my girlfriend. Been wanting to try this place for a while as the exotic meats really sounded appealing. We arrived without a reservation after the gym amd were seated quickly, the manageress(luca? was the only FOH member working but this didnt stop her giving friendly efficient service, not forgetting to check if we needed any further drinks and always doing a check back on our courses. My girlfriend is vegetarian so she reluctantly came with me to this venue, but her cauliflower starter was very nice, and she said the vegetarian burger was the best shes had in a while, the calamari was great, and my tri of meats was absolutely beautiful,the concept that it is cooked in front of you is very good, as it takes pressure of the kitchen and is a good talking point for the table, allowing you to cook to your taste preference. I honestly cant recommend it enough. When receiving the bill i was shocked at the prices (didnt bother to look when ordering , i would have happily paid 10-20% more than what it was. This has been the best meal out ive had for a long time, cant wait to come again."

"We met friends here on Sunday as its convenient for both of us. We all started with the salad, which we all enjoyed. I had the belly pork with mash and it was delicious, followed by the Eton mess. They were busy and we were seated in a booth next to a big birthday party, but it didn't give us any problems. The waitress was attentive, reading back all of our orders and this is the only place I've been to in a while where she made a point of asking if I wanted ice cubes in my lemon and lime! I would have taken pictures but was too busy tucking in and enjoying it!"

"We arrived to say our booking by fork was not registered and they had no knowledge of it. We shared email confirmation etc. and they went out of their way to accommodate us, but we are advised that they were a limited menu that was not meant appetizers, only Sunday roasts, we are hungry for the frying, the service staff were good, but the food was disappointing, hard frying potatoes, dry chicken and over boiled veg, shameful as we did."

Sunday evening dinner with sat, my mother 70th birthday party and Christmas day. at every opportunity the employees were beautiful and eating good quality for the price. mums party buffet was excellent and we also had good comments from our guests. christmas eating when considering how busy it was, all very well cooked. everyone who works so hard on Christmas day deserves a medaille in my eyes. well done and thanks. we'll be back soon. By the way, this was years ago in the 70s when it was the white horse and had still a lounge and saloonbar so I visited this pub my whole life and it was interesting to see how it changed in the course of the years. my grandfather tom glynn was the renter xxx"

"I was impressed with the Americano coffee I had; it was of excellent quality! You can always gauge a barista's skill by tasting their black coffee, and this one was very smooth with a full-bodied roast. It definitely surpassed the offerings from typical chain coffee shops. They also had a good selection of cakes and savory snacks. I believe in supporting local businesses, and at £3 for the coffee, it’s a great deal! Service was for takeout."

"I visited this restaurant the other day while on my way to meet someone, so I was in a hurry and unsure about what to eat. However, as soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly server who was very cheerful and helpful. They guided me through the menu, made several recommendations, and I ended up choosing a large bowl of fresh tuna poke with quinoa. The sauce and additional toppings were fantastic and complemented the flavors of the poke well. After most of the customers had left, I sat and chatted with one of the servers. I also admired the decor, which had a calming and relaxed vibe with white walls, subtle Mexican accents, and plenty of flowers. The combination of delicious food and excellent customer service made for a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely return when I have the chance."

I particularly enjoyed the salt and pepper fish and would recommend trying the house special fried rice. "wow! tonight to eat roast, ingenious eating, top quality. the service was also very good. not complaining. we had appetizers, hauptsache and puddings all three well ordered, service was good between everyone and the last serve us so beautiful. roast was perfectly boiled, tasty roast beef I have in a restaurant in the old with beautiful fluffy, but crispy roasted kartoffels. yummmy! they pay a little more, but definitiw it for standard of food, service and atmosphere. we will visit again very soon, I wouldn't look anywhere else for a roast."

"Was a wonderful afternoon Tea, second to none. I have had tea at many other 5* places and this beats them all hands down. The food was amazing and the in house baker is incredible, those scones omg to die for. The staff are lovely, courteous and knowledgeable and it was a special experience. The waiter was lovely and very accommodating to all of our requests. The staff presented themselves professionally and it was a pleasure to have had the high standard you obviously are succeeding in setting. The grounds are looking immaculate, the decor is lovely. "So so disappointed. Not been since a friend had chewing gum in his meal. Starters- pram puree, frozen prawns hard and chewy. Crab fish cakes were tiny and had so much spice you couldn't find the crab. A friend ordered lamb shank. Twice we told the waiter what he wanted but he got lamb sag. I had lamb chops and they were so chewy I couldn't eat them. My takka Dahl was sloppy and watery. I won't be bothering again. Meal type: Dinner"
