"We all used vouchers that covered three courses along with coffee and chocolates. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged for the coffee and chocolates. We mentioned the vouchers, but the manager rudely replied, “You should have told us at the start that you had the vouchers,” despite the fact that I had mentioned this when making the reservation. To make matters worse, we didn’t receive a full refund for the coffee and chocolates, which left us quite disappointed.
We have been frequent visitors to the Henley for years, often enjoying Sunday dinners, and my sister even had her wedding there years ago. After this experience, though, we won’t be returning anytime soon. It’s unfortunate to see that standards have declined recently, which seems to be a result of a change in management."
