"I ordered Pizza Express dough balls, Al Forno dough balls, polenta chips, cannelloni, and a latte. The Pizza Express dough balls were served with butter and had a slightly burnt bottom. I cut them open and enjoyed them with the butter. Unfortunately, I found the Al Forno dough balls unappealing, though they were saved by the generous amount of cheese on top.
The polenta chips came with a sweet mustard sauce, which I had never tried before. They resembled porridge more than chips, making for an interesting experience. They were served very hot, so I had to wait for them to cool down. The mustard sauce was quite sugary, but surprisingly, it did not detract too much from the overall flavor. The cannelloni was also a first for me, and it was an interesting experience, though not to my liking.
The latte looked nice but tasted just average, with nothing particularly special about it. I returned later and ordered the Leggera Vegan Giardiniera, a Beetroot Buddha Bowl, and another latte. My choice of pairing the latte with the beetroot was a mistake, as the flavors did not mesh well, and I ended up drinking very little of it. The Beetroot Buddha Bowl was intriguing, with well-cooked beetroot, but it had too many overly spiced toasted seeds.
The Leggera Vegan Giardiniera is essentially a pizza topped with fresh salad around the edges. The bottom was burned a bit too much, so the waiter kindly replaced it for me. The taste was good, resembling a decent pizza but nothing out of the ordinary. If you're interested, you can ask the waiter for the vegan menu."
