"Excellent cafeteria and restaurant in the center of Jaén, very close to the Condestable hotel. In addition to serving good breakfasts at low prices (I recommend ordering the battles toast), it has a varied menu to eat, elaborated and quality dishes and a magnificent waiter service. Además de servir buenos desayunos a precios económicos (recomiendo pedir la tostada batallas), tiene una carta variada para comer, platos elaborados y de calidad y un magnífico servicio de camareros. Aunque tiene una amplia variedad de platos, la especialidad de la casa es el lagarto ibérico (el espinazo del cerdo ibérico), muy sabroso. También recomiendo las pechugas de pollo en salsa de almendras. Y para acabar, un surtido de postres. Sitio de referencia (y recomendable) en el centro de Jaén para los desayunos y comidas. "Food Ok but disappointed that items on the menu were not available namely the dessert on their webpage !! but more of a concern was the flooring the edges of the 'wooden flooring ' were all curled and pieces of the veneer were missing. It was really dangerous. So easy to trip and apparently the tap in the bathroom was not working and had not been for at least 6 months. The edges of the tables were coming apart not very hygenic Would not recommend this restaurant needs complete refurb"

"We had lunch there on a day trip to Jaen. Found it just wandering around and thought it looked a bit different. Not a huge menu but I am always a bit suspicious of place that do everything so that was not a problem. The menu consisted of traditional spanish fare but a couple of different dishes thrown in. The other thing that was thrown in was the waiter momentarily losing concentration and throwing a glass of rioja over me and my brand new t shirt. But these things happen and he put our deserts and brandies on the house plus is buying me a new t shirt he says.!!! : My husband had the solomillio with potatoes, red peppers and cheese and it was fantastic. I had the chicken lasagne which was supposed to be picante but was not really. If I had not tried the solomillo, I would have been delighted with the lasagne. We sat outside in the square which was lovely but the inside of the restaurant looks really nice with an easy feel about it."

"La verdad, me llevé un gran chasco. Era un sitio que tenía muchas ganas de probar, pero cuando lo hice vi que no valía mucho la pena. Los precios son excesivos... ¿11€ por 8 alitas de pollo? Entre otros... Luego la comida no es nada del otro mundo, el guacamole no es de mis favoritos y los platos los veo bonitos pero con poca chicha. Todo es subjetivo, claro. El ambiente no es el adecuado para mí... es decir, es un restaurante mexicano pero no te hace sentir que estés en él. El trato recibido fue muy bueno, estaban pendientes de ti, eso es un punto a favor. También otra cosa buena que tienen es el hecho de que se pueda reservar mesa, y nosotros que éramos un grupo grande nos vino de perlas, ya que no en todos sitios lo hacen. El plato que creo que merece más la pena en cuanto a calidad/cantidad/precio son los nachos. En resumen, no es un sitio al que volvería a ir sinceramente pero oye... para gustos los colores."

"Es un sitio mítico mítico de Jaén, muy recomendable por el ambiente y el trato, los platos son jienenses, las migas, lomo de orza, habitas con tocino, etc... y en verano se salen con la pipirrana... Con la consumición te dan una tapa muy generosa, tienen unas cortezas con saborcillo a barbacoa muy rico. Muy recomendable pasar por aquí y tomarte algo para mimetizarte con el ambiente de Jaén."

Nos pusieron tapa en todas las consumiciones, incluso después de pedir las raciones cosa que casi nunca ocurre en otros sitios), todo lo que pedimos estaba muy bueno. Jamón de cebo, corazones de alcachofas a la plancha con jamón y tartar de salmón, aguacate, mango y langostinos estaba en la parte de las ensaladas) El baño muy limpio, con jabón y papel de manos para mí el baño del restaurante dice mucho de él) Muy recomendable"

"Fuimos en pasados días a vuestro local en el Jaén Plaza y ver como a el personal de sala desde la ventanilla de cocina denigran dando voces a la chuiquilla que nos atendió. La comida nos llegó fría y no es por quién nos atendió sino porque muchas mesas y poco personal para día jueves 8 de la tarde. Se nota la explotación laboral a la someteis a vuestro personal, esto va más allá de la presente reseña. Ya ha sido notificada a la gerencia de la franquicia en Madrid con copia a los organismos en Sevilla y Madrid que regulan que este tipo de actuar en ambiente laboral no sean repetidos cada día. Y vuestra respuesta elude responsabilidad corporativa tanto como franquicia. Entre el sector de restauración en Jaén capital es bien sabido como vosotros explotan laboral a todos vuestros trabajadores."

"Ubicado en pleno centro de Jaén, al lado del mercado, el restaurante Blanco y Negro es una opción ideal para disfrutar de comida fresca y bien preparada. La proximidad al mercado se refleja en la calidad y frescura de los ingredientes, lo cual se nota en cada plato. El servicio fue excepcionalmente rápido, lo cual es siempre un plus cuando tienes hambre y quieres comer sin largas esperas. La comida, además de ser servida rápidamente, estaba deliciosa. Desde los entrantes hasta los postres, todo estaba en su punto y se notaba el esmero en la preparación. En cuanto al precio, encontramos que era bastante razonable, especialmente considerando la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Es un lugar donde se puede comer bien sin que duela el bolsillo."
