"In line with today being the French National day, commemorating the storming of the Bastille, I had the choice of either a Peasant menu, or the Royaliste. I opted for the Royaliste, & started with smoked salmon & caviar on a salad bed with vinagrette. The main was a succulent chicken breast wrapped in bacon with barbecue sauce, with a roast sliced potato. Rounded off with a crepe filled with forest fruits & topped with a Belgian chocolate ganache. Very tasty & only €20 with a Coke & a coffee, & enjoyed in the family atmosphere that is the trademark of Cafe Bonbon. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon."
