"Ha diferencia de otros restaurantes, por cada pedido para llevar te regalan los típicos entrantes(tostas de harina de garbanzos, salsa de yogur y menta, picadillo de cebolla). La comida deliciosa, con una carta muy variada, además la cocina es abierta, con lo cuál puedes observar la preparación de los alimentos, destacar el orden y la limpieza. Lo recomiendo al 100%."

"Today we have lunch in the bodeguiya, a restaurant on the line where you find a very varied menu with tapas, half rations and whole rations. We try several mountaineers (boil, puyol, ronaldinho. are some of them), the lobster horns, the cod tortilites and the Russian salad. "I went with a group of friends last Friday at 8pm after a recommendation from a work mate in Gibraltar. I´ve lived in La Linea for around three years now, and none of us had been here before so we thought we would give it a shot. It´s a little off the beaten track but not to difficult to find. The Meson is divived into a tapas bar and a sit down restaurant, the latter of which is well looked after and where we decided to eat as there were six of us and it looked a bit cramped in the tapas bar. Anyways, the service was nothing special if I´m honest. We opted for some starters to share and then some main courses (see uploaded receipt for prices). The food was good, but it was more expensive then what we are used to paying in la linea. Once we divided the bill between 6, it came to 27 euros each, which is quite a lot given that we only had a couple of drinks each. Maybe I´m being harsh and unfairly comparing it to other places in La Linea, but after a big meal like this most restaurants offer some sort of shot of something like Pacharan, but not here, and as a result the general feeling of the group was the night here was okay, but we wouldn´t be coming back and it´s the first time in La Linea that we made a unanimous decision not to leave a tip! Maybe I´m being too harsh after just one visit. But the food didn´t stand out as anything special. But to be fair I will go back and try the tapas bar next time and leave another review."

"It is one of our mandatory stops every time we go to the line; I have already commented several times: a very wide menu, in which we can, or choose mountaineers and canapés to tape, of which there is a great variety, the vast majority around 2 €, or more consistent dishes for a more serious meal. On this occasion we decided on half a ration of cod croquettes, a Greek moaká, a slice of Creole meat, a chorizo criollo with spices and three montaditos: legs with garlic bread, antonio (pata, salmon, piquillo and roquefort) and parra (melva, fresh cheese, piquillo and garlic bread). with a beer tank and two soft drinks, an account of 27 € for two people. Although the prices are very cheap and the attention is good, I continue to resist giving you the five points for the same cause as in previous occasions: the noise and fuss in the local, which make the food not a hundred per cent pleasant experience."

"One of the best restaurant in La Linea, Spain. Steak is very soft, juicy and delicious. Price is moderate and the serving is full. We waited for about 20 or 30 minutes but it was worth it when it arrived in our table. They have a wide variety of cuisine and most of them are prepared artistically! I Love it. You also won't get bored since there are pigeons nearby that you can watch and feed."

"Ubicado en pleno centro, junto a la Plaza de la Iglesia, este restaurante nos ofrece una carta muy variada, en la que encontramos embutidos, ensaladas, platos para compartir, nigiri, maki, hamburguesas y carnes a la parrilla de carbón También cuenta con una pantalla donde figuran sugerencias, sushi fuera de carta, carnes maduradas y postres, con sus correspondientes precios. Como curiosidad, desde la página web del restaurante podemos solicitar que nos envíen una foto de dicha pantalla por whatsapp, con lo que podemos consultarla cómodamente en nuestra mesa. Acudimos para cenar y nos decidimos por pan bao con jarrete, verduras y salsa yakitori, mini hamburguesa de solomillo de vaca, cheddar, rúcula y mayonesa, media ración de ensaladilla rusa con alioli y langostinos, solomillo de cerdo ibérico al roquefort y New York maki de 8 piezas con queso Philadelphia, salmón, aguacate y sésamo. Con un tanque de cerveza y dos refrescos, una cuenta de 46 € para tres personas. Nos gustó bastante, platos de buena calidad y bien presentados; por poner un par de peros, tardaron bastante en tomarnos nota y el precio del New York maki me pareció bastante elevado, pero por lo demás, todo bien."

"By a roundabout on the Med coastline of La Linea this unassuming restaurant from the outside is the very best for fish any place within a short drive (or 20 min walk) from Gibraltar. While other fish restaurants are virtually empty, as you walk in you’ll often find this one packed for lunch. Choose your fish from the display cabinet near the kitchen and small customer toilets and it’ll be cooked perfectly. A word of warning though, it is incredibly noisy the talking and laughing is very loud this is a genuine Spanish family (and family run) restaurant, not a cosy intimate place aimed at tourists."

"Buen lugar para comer en la línea. Comida diferente y muy buena en todo el centro. Pedimos varios platos donde destacaría el pulpo. El servicio amable y atento. Reserve y aunque cuando llegué había aún sitio libre, se acabó llenando, por lo que suele estar concurrido. El precio medio por persona, al menos en nuestro caso fue de unos 20€. "Situado frente a la playa de Santa Bárbara, este restaurante cuenta con salón interior y terraza y nos ofrece la típica carta de los restaurantes hindúes, muy amplia y con una gran variedad de platos. Acudimos para comer, y optamos por chicken tandoori, lamb tikka, kashmiri sweet rice y chicken tikka masala. De postres, kulfi de mango y crema de mango y de bebidas, dos cervezas Cobra y una botella de agua, para una cuenta de 59 € para tres personas. Tuvieron el detalle de ponernos un aperitivo de papadum con varias salsas y un bol de mukhwas (semillas de hinojo con cubierta dulce) cuando terminamos la comida. En general bien, sitio muy tranquilo, y la comida, sin ser de la mejor que he probado en un restaurante hindú, muy correcta. La atención, también correcta, como la comida."

"We ate her several times when staying nearby and would recommend this place for food or drinks. We struggled on our first visit as you needed a QR reader to access the menu and both our phones were on charge but the lovely waitress listed some of the popular items and we made our choices from this. The food was hot and served quickly despite the restaurant being really busy. I would recommend the chicken wings which I became addicted to and had on a a number of occasions. The Nachos were plentiful and could be shared I just missed a tomato salsa to go with the guacamole and sour cream but they were still delicious. My daughter is a lover of Gambas Pil Pil and the first ones she tried were excellent but there was no bread to dip in the lovely garlic and chilli oil, the second time she had this there was bread but unfortunately the garlic in the dish was burnt and had a bitter aftertaste. We tried the Pizza picante which I loved as it was spicy and had jalapeno's. Lots of choices of drinks, My Daughter had a few mocktails and I enjoyed the wines. I did try an Aperol spritz and I did not enjoy it as it tasted very bitter and I wasn't sure there was prosecco in it which normally sweetens the drink up. All in all it was a lovely place to eat, great staff and the majority of food and drinks were enjoyable"

"Pedimos la ensalada la perla y es enorme, luego un variado de pescado frito y no estaba mal y los mejillones pero no parecían que fueran muy frescos. Las gambas las cogían de un congelador que estaban envasadas en las típicas cajas de 1 kilo y de dos kilos. Me esperaba algo mejor"

"I've been able to taste the food in this restaurant and I should say that what I tried brought me a lot. the important, generous and affordable amounts, a different option to Asian food places in the city. The only glue I had put is the place that for my drop is nothing cozy, has no hot atmosphere and does not have to be there. "Forget about 'Muck 'Donalds which is a few metres away, and eat clean instead at La Linea Verde! We had a very nice welcome from Georgie the owner, who is an animal-loving Hungarian lady. She purchased the cafe premises in this arcade (Av. Veinte de Abril 21 Bulevar) and set up LLV. You walk through the arcade to reach the Gibraltar border from the main plaza in La Linea de la Concepcion. It is literally less than a 5 min. walk from Gibraltar/Spanish Customs. Find LLV located opposite the Transylvanian Cafe! It is advertised as a Food Takeaway but if you want to perch outside and the weather is warm enough, she has a couple of little tables. Georgie offers one main meal a day with other items like sandwiches also on offer. I was amazed that the 'omelette ' in my sandwich was actually ground up chickpeas done in a pan in such a way that I was pretty convinced there was egg in my sandwichThe desserts were especially tasty. The most surprising thing of all was the brilliantly low price. I think it would have been nice to have had some hot vegetable soup available in November, and the toilets (they are not the cafe 's, they are a shared bathroom for all the street cafes in that area) was, with so much foot traffic, not the most pleasant place. On the other hand it was great to be able to park underground really close by and quite cheaply too. We will return!"
