"A group of us stayed in Le Beaucet for weeks. We stopped in one day when we noticed the bistro was almost empty to see if we could have a late lunch. Unfortunately Andrea could not accommodate us, even though there were open tables...available. We later found out the reason was because she requires a reservation so that she can purchase the food the night before or the morning of the day you plan on eating to keep everything local and fresh. Because it is tiny village, it wouldn't be economical for her to stock food and still have it be fresh. We got a reservation and when we showed up, we also realized that Andrea was chef, hostess, and wait staff. She had a starter of goat cheese and beet salad and I was thrilled to say that this is the only goat cheese I have not spit out. I am not a fan of goat cheese, but will always try it. Hers was amazing! She offered two entrées (fish and chicken) and a delicious raspberry sorbet with melon. Everyone loved their meal and I decided the next time I go back to Le Beaucet, I may have a daily standing reservation so she can cook for me every day. LOVE LOVE LOVE Bistrot du Beaucet"
