"Nous aimons bien chaque année réserver à la Maison du Bassin ; terrasse très agréable et rapport qualité/prix très honorable pour Cap-Ferret. Je recommande le menu avec son buffet de desserts. Service efficace, cuisine de qualité, ambiance de vacances qui ne se "la pète pas trop" malgré sa situation géographique proche du Mimbeau : que demander plus ?"

"a friendly and unpretentious place or we spent an excellent evening with friends and casual meetings. a waitress with little care and very pleasant. the tapas are excellent the melting octopus, the sauce of the mussels obliges the bread to sauce and the rich burgers. Baby's count could have lasted the night! only hic (after nico; The color of the towels reminds the blue of the om! dream of jokes, I recommend this side without chichis flonflons! a correct addition in these tourist places."

"This vegetarian restaurant usually offers vegan food (only some drinks and food included honey or cow milk, but they can easily ask for a vegan version.) I tried the poke bowl and their carrot cakes and both were very delicious and well balanced. I also tried her chai and golden latte: also excellent. the personal is friendly and the prices are very fair (65 euro for a complete lunch for four with drinks.) I recommend the place when they are in the opposite!"

"Had high hopes since the place looked nice initially, the waitress when she brought my appetizer of fresh shrimp with mayonnaise hit both my water and wine glasses spilling almost all of it...though she apologized profusely, no replacement for the wine spilt was...offered (though the owner when I was paying actually took it into account). I ordered the scallops and monkfish skillet as my main (21 euros)...it was generous and cooked in garlic butter but served with fairly tasteless unseasoned boiled vegetables. What was surprising however was the wait between ordering and being served as well as between the finishing the appetizer and being served the main course. Granted they are just opening for the season so not totally tuned up for a big lunch crowd but the prices are already high season rates. Another anomaly was that the dishes of the day as they appeared on the side board, were not the ones the waitress in the next section was proposing???"

"Pour commencer nous avons attendus plus de 30 minutes debout alors que des tables étaient libres...On a voulu s'assoir à une table pour patienter nous nous sommes fait engueuler comme des enfants. (J'apprécie moyennement me faire enguirlander quand je vais au restaurant) Le service semblait totalement désorganisé et n'avait rien de professionnel.Par la suite la patronne nous a fait la morale, nous a invectivé avec un ton plus qu'agressif.C'est à ce moment là que nous avons fait le choix de partir. (OUF)C'est une honte de traiter les gens de la sorte. Passez votre chemin..."

"Der Koch bemüht sich wirklich um einen etwas anderen Geschmack bei den Gerichten. Sehr gute Vorspeisen, die Hauptgerichte wirklich gut und große Stücke Fisch, nur, mein Thunfisch war trocken, zu sehr gegart. Der Koch hätte den Teller nicht herausgeben dürfen. So was sieht man als Koch. Wir wollen das aber nicht überbewerten. Das Lokal kann man empfehlen."

"We were looking for something on the coast and found this jewel. We had razor shells, followed by octopus and a scampi salad. Pudding was a chocolate waffle and a lemon Meringue tea. Everything was delicious and the service was brilliant. The view over the...bay was relaxing and I would definitely recommend. We went a la carte, but there is a menu that is a great value for money. Try it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed."

"Après une ballade au Cap Ferret, à la recherche d'un endroit pour boire un verre, nous nous nous sommes désaltérés en terrasse et avons décidé d'y déjeuner.Un menu très correcte et de bons conseils de la propriétaire sur l'entrée (petite assiette du pêcheur).En effet,nous sommes bretons,donc,des huitres au mois de juillet,nous hésitions énormément...Cette personne nous a convaincus,et nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Un cadre idyllique et un service sympathique donc nous reviendrons."
