"Having been to this restaurant many times over the last 15 years and always enjoyed first rate meals with really good service, would've said this was one of the best restaurants in the region. Forget all the previous good reviews that you see, this place...now is absolutely awful. The service is appalling. We waited one hour for our starter. The plates from the tasting dish were never removed ! The owner scowled at the waiters to remove the plates as he was holding our starters. The soup was definitely out of a can.. Waited five minutes longer after multiple signals to get a spoon for the soup !. The eggs with truffles for €27 were a joke. The mushrooms for €25 were truly disgusting. They were fried mushrooms with pieces of burnt toast..... It was Saturday night and all the tables were full, no one in the restaurant was satisfied. You could see the look on peoples faces, you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. The service was totally shambolic and the food was disgusting. The prices remain the same from the previous owners, who were of course delivering incredible food. If you feel my review is a little harsh, wait a few months and watch the terrible reviews pour in....... The bill was €115 for two people with one glass of house wine !!! There was no question of anyone asking us if we enjoyed the meal, no thank you, no please come again, nothing. A real clip joint."
