"ahhhhh French cuisine! the house of culinary delights! especially the seafood on the south coast. oysters falling from their dish, grilled garnel dripping in garlic bitter, sublime steaks, which fall on the sea, which invites her knife, and then there is this place.....................Our thought was first excited when the live music appeared, a song sang and then stopped. I suppose you need to know when you fight a loss fight. we start with the personal. they don't care that they're a paying guest. they are aware that the footfall in the restaurant will be a farewell and as such there is really no need to do any efforts at all. we have managed to win the attention of an incredibly boring looking man and ask him for some mayonnaise to add something aroma to our sons the bowl of the fries. the people glistened with outrage, he took a deep breath and said “No”. we are not really used to being said no as a response to basic demands after contingent, so that we have escaped in our hands and felt whether there was flexibility in his response. that seemed to disturb him, had he not cleared us enough? At some point he scrubbed his shoulders and said that we could have aioli, although his abhorrent suggests that we would have to make the aioli of his lifeless hand clutchable. we have rejected as our sohn aioli does not like. what was for a mistake that was! the main thing came. Although there was nothing that aioli could do to save the Thai green chef in a bag brewed curry that had my wife who thought the dach of her mouth and did not make any other lasting impression, there was no doubt that important puppies of aioli need to be if any of the fishermen were eaten in the castle. we have taken our lives into the hands we have sung to the waiting staff. the young man had to go out clearly so that we were faced with a young lady, for whom the smile was an option that was rarely offered. in most votes we asked if it would be possible to have a few aioli. she was clearly warned about these demanding British guests and brazen as she explained no before she was writing away to avoid further confrontations. the British rich was not built by people who take “no” for a response and if they dared close enough to our table again, we repeated our request for aioli. in this time the already indefinable fishburgers became too stone cold, but because we paid for this food, and they call us traditionists if they want, we were determined to have at least one mouthful. the waitress could see our determination and nodded that she would get something aioli. every sense of success that we felt died faster than our appetite, when she just never returned to our table and should never be seen again. that was it, a completely disgusting Thai prawn green curry and two disgustingly inedible fishburgers. if they ever go to this restaurant, then they can ask why. When I paid, the man behind the bar asked me if everything was in order? I began to describe our eating experience, he had asked, but he interrupted me, gave me my card back and schroff."

"Picked this restaurant because they had a place on the terrasse with a view on the port. From the look of it was not expecting much; freshly thawed food, pizzas and slow service by harried waiter in typical touristy restaurant. Sat down to plastized single paper menus and my expectations dropped even furthur. HOWEVER not so!The waitress was quite friendly and although not exactly prompt (she seem to have a lot of tables to manage and the place was full), she was calm and really seemed to have everything under control. Like she had a system, and it worked. When she got to you you had her full attention, smiled a lot made little small talk that engaged you if you wanted or could easliy be smiled at in return, but was not wasting anyone's time, just being social. The place was packed yet she made you feel like you were the only client in the restuarant. So good service. We ordered drinks, squid, mussels/french fries and a child's pizza. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time.My squid was huge and delicious, with as potatoey thing with fancy vegs around it. Looked really like what a high class restaurant would serve. Cooked perfectly, not too rubbery, maybe a bit heavy on the butter and oil, but hey, some might say was not enough): Basically very good, My companion had the mussels, alot of mussels, really large mussels, fresh mussels. too many mussels. Plate of french fries that was cooked perfectly, I thought was not very many french fries, but in the end had a hard time finsihing them. Got two thumbs up for the mussels. The child had a child sized pizza that looked very good, with little micky-mouse style ears made from dough. Cute. Ate the whole thing so can but assume it tasted as good as it looked. The bill was perfectly reasonable. My companion was saying we paid the same amount for our meal the previous day which was not nearly as good nor as voluminous. So thumbs up for that as well."
