I've come to realize that Efsane is clearly appealing to a very different crowd than other local eateries. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a sleek, upscale venue in the city, where people gather before heading out to party. Honestly, as a 43-year-old, I felt quite out of place and a bit ancient!
Next time I’m in the area, I might opt for takeaway. The loud club music made it impossible for us to have a conversation or even understand each other’s replies. I’m not suggesting they should have live music with traditional instruments (although that would be fantastic), but the Mediterranean element we were seeking just wasn’t present, and that’s why we came. The food was definitely delicious, though!"
