"Looking for a restaurant that's open on a Sunday evening can sometimes be a challenge, and we chose this place based on the reviews of TripAdvisor (we have never been disappointed with this method). The service was good; we didn't have to wait overly long for the food, bearing in mind there was one single wait staff that evening. The waiter was working alone, and although slightly brusque at the beginning, he slowly warmed up and became quite friendly as the meal went on, chatting with diners at various tables. By the end of the meal, we'd even learnt that his grandparents were Canadian. As we have never eaten Canadian food before, we cannot comment on the authenticity of the dishes, but what we can say is this: the food was simply delicious, and the portions were really generous. The presentation was beautifully done. The salmon in the starter salad was covered in a lovely chive sauce, and we chose the caribou and pork with maple syrup for mains. My partner and I have one biggest pet peeve - eating food in a restaurant that we feel we can do better at home, but there was no way we could replicate this in our kitchen, so we were incredibly happy.Great meal all around, and we found the price to be very reasonable. The interior decor was very homely, and the bathroom was lovely.Highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely return with friends."
