"Came across this beautiful place while at our stay at Haven a few minutes away. We came at 7pm so was unable to go around the little zoo they have, however, what a lovely pub, food was absolutely amazing, very generous portions!! And great value for money! Lovely friendly staff, beautiful roaring log burner which made it very comfortable. The only thing I would say was that it could have done with slightly more light, it was quite dark to eat our food but that’s the only slight nag I have. 100% would return, it was £85 for 5 of us with main course and alcoholic drinks. Absolute bargain for absolutely gorgeous food!!! Unfortunately I didn’t take any pics of food! Looked too yummy to stop and take pics! :"
