"To celebrate our anniversary with my partner, we wanted to try this Afghan restaurant, whose sign indicating the upcoming opening was for several years. At the entrance we arrive in a new and modern restaurant with a touch of old (beautiful fireplace and wooden stairs). There is also a corner, more traditional or can be eaten in tailor around a table Afghan way. The welcome is very warm, with a server for the moment more comfortable in English than in French but we are sure it will progress quickly. The menu features entries, rice, grilled dishes, dishes (with a lot of vegetarian choices), ravioli and desserts. At the beginning we took a mango Lassi (farm with firm yoghurt and milk) that we shared and that was excellent. Then my spouse took in the inlet of vegetable and potato stuffed slippers and I grilled eggplants with tomato sauce and yogurt. The two dishes are really nice and original, spicy but not spicy. Then my partner took the pears ravioli and I a dish simmered with balls and rice. The dish was fine and delicate, with a very fine ravioli dough. For me the dish was excellent, but I found the sauce accompanying the dish, based on tomatoes and lentils even better than the balls (which were excellent and well cooked). It would be a great idea for me to propose a dish based on these mijotees, perhaps for the winter. For desserts, we took a pink flan. I have it for the less appreciated because too strong in pink water with a smell that rises to the nose, I will try something else next time. But let's say that the restaurant has the merit of offering something other than the industrial chocolate marrow. I will come back with great pleasure to see the evolution of this very recent restaurant I wish the best."

"There is not a lot of choice as Vegan restaurant in Mulhouse. This one was the most seducing, because it's not only Vegan, but also bio. (and gluten-free). Most of the people were happy about their visit, so we decided to go their.Easy to find, easy to park near it (and for free the evening) right in the center of the city.Little restaurant. We did book to be sure to have a place, and we were right, because the place was rather crowded (although not full).Hosts were nice. The guy (the owner) was looking very sympathetic. We did choose some cocktails with fruits and vegetables, soup with mushrooms, polenta/vegetables for my girlfriend, and as desert : kind of icecream with blueberries. Everyting was tasty, especially the cake ! And I have to say that : 3rd Vegan Restaurant visited, and 3rd time that we are not disapointed ! (it was happening very often with conventionnal ones ! including the supposed good ones)About the price, we did pay 35 €. (one drink each, one meal each, one dessert for two : and the whole thing was really enough for an evening meal) Affordable. We have just been astonished that the 5€ tip that we were about to give was denied. (we did not ask why and just stay suprised). And I have to admit that it's quite unpleasant to want to give a tip, and to see it denied. Well, of course I can understand this in a big structure, in some big restaurant, or chain ones, because they have some policies to respect, but in a little restaurant... Well, nevermind, I still do give 5 stars to this very good Vegan Restaurant. I could give only 4, because I think it's not the most fabulous one... but in Mulhouse and its surroundings... chance that it's the best."

"Out for the evening with friends and one of them had booked this restaurant believing it to be a couscous one. What a brilliant mistake! The food was delicious--and I rate this highly, being used to really good Indian food in UK.First, the actual restaurant; it is well-lit, well decorated and very clean. The table linen is really attractive--simply done in creams and golds. Wall decorations OK, too.It being Valentine's Day, the place filled up with couples who all seemed to be repeat customers.Aperitif; we all had a cremant d'Alsace. It was a really good quality one, properly chilled and delicious.Starters; samoussas for me, Pakora for one of my friends. The other friend, not being very hungry, just sampled a bit of ours. I have to say that these were the best samoussas I have ever tasted; the flavours were subtle but there and delicious. The dips to 'go with' were also excellent. Pakora also excellent. We all shared, in fact.Main courses; fish for one friend which she said was wonderful. Prawns for the other friend; in a really tasty creamy sauce (coconut milk, not cream-cream). I had chicken korma, one of the best I have ever had. I usually go for something more hot and spicy, but just fancied a Korma. Rice for all of us was Basmati, perfectly cooked. The naan breads were also really good.Dessert; exotic-fruits salad for my friends. They said it was a good one. I had banana 'melba'. It was well done and good.Service was excellent, discreet, friendly and professional. all dishes well presented and, I repeat, very tasty, delicious, marvellous!Portions not massive, but really enough.I would definitely go back here when I am in Alsace again."

"On a previous trip to Mulhouse we weren't lucky enough to book a table at this small restaurant but walked past to smell the most enticingly delicious aromas and promised ourselves that we would be more organized for our next visit and book a table in advance.Today was that day and we had a fantastic experience (while seeing many unlucky people being turned away, there are only about 6-8 tables)We initially enjoyed an amuse buche of curried chicken followed by our chosen starter - terrine of duck with blue cheese which was fresh and flavoursome and just the right portion being served with some seeded bread rolls. Our main course dishes hardly needed washing-up, we mopped-up every last morsel of meltingly tender porc cheeks in a deep, dark sauce. This was pure comfort food served with delicious roasted cubed potatoes and more bread for ensuring every last drop was enjoyed. After reading previous reviews we had to try the chocolate fondant pudding which was gloriously rich with a delicious vanilla ice cream served alongside. The perfect end to an excellent meal.Service was very charming, attentive and well-paced which ensured we had a lovely, long, relaxed lunch with time to sit back and enjoy our time here. The restaurant was full and it was clear to see the rest of the diners were also enjoying their visit with lots of chatter and photos being taken. The meal was excellent value, we were there for Saturday lunch and it was a set price of 25 euro for 3 courses along with our wine which was 20 euro.We will certainly be returning and are already looking forward to it!"
