"We went to eat having booked before, only a couple hours before. it is necessary to reserve because it is a small place and it fills immediately (only attend on the terrace). the environment is good, a few meters from the beach and at the entrance of the marina. the family rules two other contiguous premises, so there may be some confusion when it comes and it is said that you have a reservation. but nothing that can't be solved. They offer plenty of dishes based on fish and seafood. also pasta. but with seafood. They only have a fryer and everything is fried in the same oil, which is a problem for those who are allergic to seafood. In our case we said it from the first moment and assured us the waitress that the fish did not fry with the seafood. When we got the fried boquerones, he told us that they were going with the seafood, and that better not eat them who had the allergy. Okay, late, we had served the dish and we had no choice to return it and we had to end up paying. After ordering other dishes it took us to serve almost minutes. people began to arrive and were not able to manage either in kitchen or in living room. We had ordered gold (which was large and well made) and pasta with clams and lobsters (good taste but the paste very past cooking). In short, a restaurant with potential but I don't think he's coming back after he didn't have the option to return, but he had to pay, the fried fish in the same oil as the seafood. in total € for drinks, some fried boquerones, the pasta dish and the golden."

"Our Sunday morning began with a 30 minute drive from San Jose to La Fabriquilla for a kayak tour. We enjoyed paddling around the cliffs and snorkelling from the shore, although the wind had been picking up for several days disturbing the sand so our views of the myriad coloured fish were a little dulled Hungry, we drove back up the coast to La Isleta for lunch. The restaurants and bars with ocean views were packed so we retreated to Plaza de Escollos near our parked car, selecting the second last terrace table at Cafe Bar Calagrande A complimentary dish of fried sardines and the customary green olives arrived as soon as we ordered drinks. Our host was very vigilant, observing all tables and being extremely responsive to customers ' needs. We discussed our menu choices with him and settled on dishes of calamari and RAF tomatoes [RAF 's legendary status being highlighted by our hotel receptionist, advising any tomatoes under 6 euro per kg purporting to be RAF were likely fakes] The grilled calamari was fabulously fresh as if leaping from the sea, despite its anchor of fried chips better those had been served in a side dish. Better still a small side salad of freshly julienned raw veg Our tomate RAF with olive oil and raw garlic was a generous dish that would be better presented in layered slices with thinly slivered garlic and a black pepper grinder on the table beside the olive oil bottle, with a little artisan bread instead of the generic soft style common in Spain Locals were still arriving to start lunch at 3 pm when we left contented"
