"We booked on recommendation for the standard of lamb. Unfortunately, as it was Tuesday there was a set menu with no lamb! Was this a problem? No! On mentioning this to the waitress, she asked the chef if he could cook 3 portions of lamb, which, after a short wait, was served with the other dishes for our party of eight. In these days of poor customer service, what could have been a disappointment turned into an evening we all enjoyed thanks to the excellent service from the staff. Well done!
