"I went to return a product that had been recalled due to salmonella issues, as indicated on a consumer website. When I visited the store on Thursday, the staff claimed they knew nothing about the recall. They made a phone call to someone else, but still had no information. Eventually, a person (possibly the store manager, though he never introduced himself) came down to speak with me. I showed him the recall notice on my phone, but he just looked at me with confusion and shock, simply responding with “yeah?” I felt belittled and like I was being treated as a liar in front of other customers. I decided to leave the eggs with them, as I didn’t want to risk getting sick. I mentioned to my partner that I would be reporting the store's attitude to the website where the warning was posted. Then, the staff member confronted me face-to-face, standing too close without a mask, in a threatening manner, and demanded to know what I had said. I repeated my comment, and he just glared at me before walking away. I wouldn’t recommend addressing any issues at this store if you want to avoid feeling belittled and accused. I definitely won’t be shopping there again."
