"Best pub in the village by far. Well kept ale with local choices. Delicious food made by chefs that clearly know and care. Top quality without being wanky. Staff were wonderfully welcoming, attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere. Exceptional pub evening all round. Can't wait to come back! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"The coffee and fruit cake we had was nice but very expensive. Went in for a coffee and saw the cakes which looked very nice but No prices displayed! The prices were on the menu but just said cakes £2.60 to £4.20so you didn’t know which cakes were the most expensive. In all the coffee and cake for 2 came to£15.20!! very expensive!!
