"had dinner here on Friday evening with friends and was very dissapointed. the menu has changed from what it was earlier, not sure whether its new cook, cut or something else, but the menu was like a bar menu, very basic. the portion sizes were good, but not a large choice, i.e. fish chips, Mac'n cheese, steak cake etc. dinge that they would make home? ends up trying the lasagna that saw and tasted good for about ten minutes until I ran out of meat and was with a teller from the left. pasta with tomato and cheese?! there was nothing really different? it is a beautiful restaurant and was always really busy, but there were only three tables occupied? I think the menu could be the reason? such a shame, but I really think they have to get her play a bit up? I have also passed the puddings, which were a bit steep at £7.50, again for nothing really exciting, not even a cheeseboard they have always offered. I'm sorry we don't come back. I really hope that the catering team will rethink their menu, as it will be really disappointing not to be able to go to Christmas there as it was really such a tasty before?
