"La comida normal y el servicio pésimo. Fuimos motivados por los muy buenos comentarios pero nos sorprendió para mal. La parrillada estaba buena, no tan espectacular como se dice y el servicio malísimo. Te abandonan en tu mesa (ni un mantel de papel nos pusieron) y ahí te dejan por horas."

"After reading the reviews I expected something different, or probably better. The restaurant itself is rustic and has a certain local charm but for some reason I didn't feel totally comfortable. Maybe it was because the service was slow, the waitress seemed new to the role and she kept her coat on at all times, which seemed strange. The food itself was fine. The only thing that stood out was the chocolate in the salad jury still out on that one. Maybe we visited them on a bad day or I was not inspired. I would go back to give it another try but...not in any great hurry."

"a restaurant that leaves much to be desired, yesterday we booked a table for 5 people for today at 15:00, we gave the table at 15:40, we ordered the drink almost at 16 because there was no one approaching, there were only 4 tables occupied we asked for several dishes, one of them famous croquettes of the grandmother, at 16:30 they had not yet brought us a single dish, incredible service"

The bartender don alejandro served us from beginning to end with a kindness, sympathy and humor of an excellent host. Each of the dishes we could taste were harmoniously impregnated with an unbeatable taste and delicacy, characteristic of the Alpujarreña gastronomy.Everything in the most pleasant tune with the environment, the sun in our faces, the dew of the rain that caressed us intermittently with the vaivén of the clouds.Each second that we spent in that beautiful place made no more"

"Nice terrace, very kind waitress (speaks good english). We ordered Alpujarra food. To be honnest it was rough and too salty due to the bacon that seems to invade many of their local dishes. But it was our choice and we are happy to have tried. Our comment here should not refrain anybody from trying. Anyway they have also a menu for classical food which is certainly very good. It is the only restaurant with such an overlooking terrace in Pampaneira. And the waitress did everything to make us comfortable, she also gave us explanations about the village feria that happened during our stay. We highly recommend this nice restaurant, far from the tourist traps on the seaside. The village is really worth an afternoon visit followed by a dinner."

"I stopped for breakfast and ordered ham toast. The ham is incredible. Very friendly staff. They explained to me that the ham is from their region, made in the Alpujarras. Completely natural, cured only with sea salt. I was amazed at the quality of the ham. I'll be back sooner rather than later. Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5"

"We went to visit Pampaneira and we stopped at ALTAAHUMA to have a drink, we saw on a blackboard that they had homemade Argentine Empanadillas. (We are Argentines) We ordered two beers and an empanada each. (with the same words) The wait was a bit long. ! In my dumpling I found a piece of blue plastic, I commented to the waitress and her words were: I'm so sorry! I have worked in gastronomy, and the truth is that little professionalism and empathy with the client to respond like this. Bar with very high prices and bad attention."
