"The pies were absolutely fantastic—truly out of this world! The bubble and squeak starter and the chicken liver parfait were also very good. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that someone in our group thought the peri-peri chicken burger could use a bit more spice, but that's just a matter of personal taste. However, I must say the cheese pie I had was extraordinary!
The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, and there was plenty of parking available. It was a beautiful day, so we did have to wait a couple of minutes for a space, but it wasn't a big deal. Since we’re not locals, we came for a sunny canal walk with friends, and we've decided we will definitely return to this spot!
