"A very nice address, the managers/servers are very pleasant, attentive and attentive. We took a burger and a fish was perfect. "I put 4/5 for the kindness of the boss. The dishes are good but really not copyy, even if the lunch menu is not very expensive, we really should make an effort on the quantity because we were always hungry when we left the table after taking the flat entrance.... It is sometimes better to put a little too much that not enough to satisfy all the customers, because having the feeling of hunger when leaving a restaurant is really bad and frustrating..."

"Superb restaurant in the heart of Pau!! The restaurant has very pleasant terrace tables and indoors with sober but effective decoration!! The card is original with beautiful proposals to eat duck otherwise!! Hard to choose. We were 4 and everything was a feast!! The server is very friendly, the plates are generous and in view of quality the prices are clearly reasonable!! I chose the caribean needles, they were perfectly cooked!! The desserts are also to fall!! I'll go back with pleasure!! And I went back! Always a treat with the burger and the sprinkle of burnt cream. My friends also enjoyed a lot!!"

"J'y suis allée avec mon compagnon sur le conseil d'un ami....Attente longue entre l'apéritif et la prise de commande (45min) mais il n'y avait que 2 serveurs donc je peux le comprendre. J'ai commandé un Poké Bowl ! Surprise c'était du poisson cru ! cela serait mieux de l'indiquer sur le menu je trouve. Coup de chance j'adore ça...en plus mariné, ce que je préfère ! Sauf que.... le poisson était gluant...immangeable...comme s'il avait pris un coup de chaud...je n'ai pu manger que le riz .... Les morceaux d'avocat sans aucun goût et certains avec des bouts de noyeau ... Nous avons fais la remarque au personnel qui a accueilli la remarque de manière professionnelle.... avant de partir j'ai pu aussi constaté que les clients de la table à côté de nous se plaignaient de leur bière qui était périmé... nous avons dû tomber sur une mauvaise soirée mais nous...on y mettra plus les pieds !"

"Looking at the reviews I am very quickly introduced with friends to test the menu at 26€, the entry with a slice of foie gras in the millimeter leaves no taste and the 3 small slices of ham lost in the middle of gizzier does not leave the taste buds on alert. the main dish with a pot and its stuffed cabbage had to raise the level, the dish remains correct as a whole but the quantities are minimalist especially on the stuffed cabbage, for dessert a gourmet coffee with nothing special that allows to climb the overall level of the meal, in short well in shifting the threeadvisor reviews that leaves me perplexed with 5 stars and critics at the top level, odd no."

"I have been 2-3 times to this address with my family during my regular stays in Pau and it has become one of the places I like to visit for a simple meal. The Vietnamese food is good and authentic, in particular the Pho Bo (beef noodles) is fragrant and tasty. There are also done special dishes every day and formula to choose from. The staff from this family-owned restaurant is extremely friendly and will provide good advice if requested."

First, the smiling and warm welcome of a waitress who immediately made us comfortable, all the staff is pleasant and very friendly. Thanks to them our evening was even more pleasant, thank you. The dishes are served quite quickly and the atmosphere with the pianist was rhythmic. We are good eaters, but we were not disappointed. The dishes are hearty and MAGNIFIQUE of the entrance to the dessert, it was a real pleasure to enjoy its exceptional dishes. The price for a formula of this quality is more than correct. 32€ for this pleasure feel free. The alcohol-free cocktail is good and not too sweet. I add that I really enjoyed the very smiling and enjoyable waitress who at the end of his service came to wish us a happy birthday that of my husband) and a good evening end, it becomes so rare. "We had lunch here. We both ordered a Plat du Jour, consisting of a hamburger (hachée), lettuce and french fries with an entrée for both of us.The entrée, consisting of an asparagus salad, was fine. I got the hachée I had ordered, but my wife got something else: hake (a kind of fish). They were willing to change the plate and give her also a hamburger, but seeing my french fries she decided to keep the fish, which was a pretty good choice.The french fries were very greasy, as if baked in used engine oil; they were also too dark and floppy. The taste was as if a cat was giving birth to kittens in my mouth.Though the service was alright, I would certainly not recommend this café for eating something with french fries!"

"We booked to stay at the Parc Beaumont hotel and the reception staff highly recommended their Jeu de Palme restaurant so after a wander around town, we decided to eat there. They found us a table on the terrace despite no reservation and we proceeded to have one of the most delicious experiences of our summer travels. The Bourgogne Pouilly Vinzelles recommended by the waiter was absolutely delicious and refreshingly not overpriced, perfectly complimenting our amazing meal. There is a choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts as well as a gastronomic tasting dinner. We went for three courses and the waitress brought up two beautifully presented and tasty amuse bouches, one after the other. The first was tiny taster mouthfuls as usual while the second was a mini tuna tartare with a menthe dressing. It was a perfect blend of flavours and set the level for the courses to come. My coeur de saumon was beautifully cooked, slightly rare inside as I like it, and served on a bed of butter beans, pea shoots and redcurrants resting in a delicious fruits de mer reduction while my husband's duck with broccoli cooked three ways and courgettes was also a hit. A reinvented tiramisu was delicious and the home made madeleines and mini lemon topped biscuits (like the two pre-starters, also on the house) rounded off a wonderfully relaxing fine dining experience. The bill came in at 115€ which was fantastic value for such a fabulous meal. We will be back!"

"Good way to describe this restaurant... great! A great little restaurant that doesn’t pay a mine from the outside and yet!! We had the joy of discovering a super smiling waitress despite the ruch and very tatillating customers. Bravo to her. Our super cuisto listening and super professional!! I recommend the eyes closed. We took a scrape at 3 unfortunately we couldn’t finish, Marie Hélène and her husband allowed us to go back with potatoes, farm cheese, charcuterie. Anyway, thank you for this great meal and we will come back with great pleasure. It’s rare to see people so warm and close to their customers, it’s hot in the heart and it gives humanity a boost. Don’t hesitate and go!"
