Continuo a consigliarlo!"

"you must immediately say that the property consists of a restaurant/bar on the floor of the street while the rest of the upper floors is intended for the apartments, except for the terrace on which you can have breakfast or dinner with a beautiful view on a fishing table. reviews, therefore, must be distinguished between the catering service and overnight stay. having stayed for a week but always wandering to the attractions of the area, I still had a way to try the kitchen and found it of good quality. the location is extraordinary and the dinner on the terrace of the watch is beautiful and I recommend it for a romantic declaration on the roofs of a city that is already romantic of itself. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful for the needs of the customer. I take advantage of it to say hello, if you read this review, all the girls who work there and in particular camilla who accompanied us with cordiality and professionalism from arrival to the morning of departure. As for the apartment where we were housed, I must say that it exceeded expectations brilliantly. was provided with everything necessary and when I say that everything is really everything. from the safe, hairdryer, kitchen with all, but really everything, the necessary tools for cooking (even if we did not need it). not to mention the bathroom where the silent washing machine was very useful. detergents were also available in washing tablets, as well as table and iron. I mean, really impeccable. the formula of the apartment obviously provides for the non-weekly and not daily cleaning that we do not need. I can say that the revaluation was really well done without anything to exemplify. the structure in its complex is new, being a renovated building within the historical center. the furnishings are modern and comfortable. of course not all rooms will have a panoramic view on the adjacent square but are well soundproofed and rest is really assured despite the alleys and streets of the center are always crowded in summer. The only problem could be parking. personally I do not agree to leave vehicles in the former prison square or in the center because the hourly rates are high. few stops in time but it goes from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the area. for the long stop there is the parking lot of the sports field where you can park all week except the market on Monday morning. it is not too far and allows us to take a walk in the center, cross the door of breeze and enjoy the fortification from the outside. in short a necessary but pleasant walk. I was a little long but it was necessary. structure that I would recommend absolutely if you want to live the center of this city in a complete way."

"I recently stopped for a quick lunch at Trattoria Fioravante, which is situated on a road next to a canal that leads in from Lake Garda. I was warmly welcomed and given a choice of sitting outdoors on a covered patio, in the main dining...room or out on an enclosed porch. I sat out on the porch and found tables nicely decorated and covered with cloth tablecloths. A breadbasket contained a terribly dry and tasteless bread, though I did find some packaged breadsticks on another table. Fioravante is owned and operated by a couple, with the woman taking care of orders and service and her husband working in the kitchen. I would imagine there is additional help during the busy tourist season. The menu, while somewhat limited, had a good selection of antipasti, primi (pasta course) and entrees. There were also daily specials. I started my meal with an antipasto of Octopus Salad (9 euro) served warm with potatoes and fried polenta on a bed of greens and radicchio. The portion size was generous and the octopus was tender. I followed this with one of the daily specials; Spaghetti allo Scoglio (13 euro) that included mussels, cockles, one shrimp and a few calamari tentacles. Unfortunately, the mussels were ice cold and had been precooked. The dish wasn't as flavorful as I anticipated and it was missing the overall flavor from the seafood. I had a bottle of sparkling Corte Viola Chardonnay; a simple table wine and I paid for only what I consumed. It would have been nice to have an ice bucket to keep the white wine chilled during my meal. I inquired about homemade desserts on the menu. The hostess explained they had a Banana Semifreddo, Panna Cotta and Crema Bavarese. I passed and simply ordered an espresso cafe. While the hostess was very pleasant, I found the food to be mediocre. I have no plans to return t Trattoria Fioravante and I cannot recommend this restaurant to the TripAdvisor community."
