"We stayed at Orvile twice during our holiday in La Caletta at the suggestion of the owner of the apartment where we stayed. Excellent appetizers (very rich), the caponata of zucchini was exquisite, the meats very good, especially the pork salad (porceddu sardo) with celery and other verdurine. After the appetizer... we were already full!! The first (two) good, malloreddus and ravioli to the red wrinkle, we only tasted them, because we wanted to leave place to the porceddu prepared by Pietro di Orvile. Actually... a PORCEDDU so....we had never eaten it: for 30 years we go to Sardinia... but the fragrance and crispness of the cotenna with the meat that melted in the mouth and the taste ... were a unique experience! Congratulations! We then finished with sweet seadas/sebasas, great. (there is also a possibility to choose baked cream with berries, chocolate or sorbet, but we like to eat local food). Naturally, Mirto and coffee. All for an absolutely competitive price: 35 euros (with also wine and water included) . Tally excited, we returned a second time to enjoy the porceddu.. .we opted for the 'reduced' menu excluding some starters and the first...for 26 euros . What to say ...young boys who manage the farm that also offers accommodation (not tried), with a professionalism and really great hospitality! All right, keep up like this... and next year!"
