"Went here with my partner, 2 children and parents, lots of points to mention, very, very friendly staff, very accommodating to my two children, delicious food, often at a pub you find that the food leaves a lot to be desired but the food was fantastic, generous portions, very well cooked, very clean, lovely little spot just off of Bushy Park. One very minor point, I have a nut allergy and was unable to have a dessert due to a lack of allergens and ingredients list in the kitchen. However, I can't recommend it enough, fantastic"

"Pizza Portofino is a place I'd highly suggest to any pizzalovers in the area. The food is delicious; fresh out of the oven. Adding on, the staff team at Pizza Portofino are very welcoming and helpful. However, the only downside is that the cafe is...quite small, but everything else is absolutely perfect."

"We tried Monaf's based on the decent reviews compared to other similar restaurants in the vicinity. Ordered via Just Eat and was notified our food was ready to collect only 20 minutes after ordering great! Not so great when the chicken dish is undercooked and pink inedible. I liked that you can order small portions of various dishes so we chose a few veggie options but unfortunately felt they all lacked flavour. We will not be ordering again."

"Started off the evening at the steak house with a couple of cocktails. Preferring the rhubarb blush over the Hennessey julep as that needed a bit more sweetness to be as good as the other. We then went for the steak tartare which had a...duck egg ontop which made all the difference and the scallops with mango puree and red pepper as a shared starter which were both fantastic. When I go back next time I'm still ordering both as I could never decide which one was better than the other. After the starters we both decided on going for the gaucho sampler which consisted off four different steaks. Rib eye, sirloin, fillet, and rump. The truffle in the side order of Mac and cheese was great the only complaint being I didn't order two of them. One wasn't enough for two people to share. The board was a great way of serving the steak but to be left with blood on the table wasn't great. Quickly attended to by Petya which smoothed everything over as if nothing had happened. We then finished the meal with a belter of a dulche de leche cheesecake and i would go back again just for that. The marshmallow made all the difference just a tiny bit more of it on the plate and it would have been perfect. Throughout the meal we experienced a top level of service from Petya. She was nice and attentive as well as being knowledgeable. Also she let us take our time in deciding what we wanted but at the same time she was experienced enough to let us enjoy the meal and even convincing us to go from a rare steak to medium rare seeing as some of the steaks on the sampler were better that way. Top job and thanks very much for making our evening. Petya is a great worker for the company to retain and is a worthwhile investment for the management team in Gaucho Richmond in the future. Will definitely be returning on a day where we can have a few more cocktails as there was too many to go for and then drive home and try and few different things from the superb wine list and other items off the menu such as the swordfish or the lambshank and hopefully the sampler doesn't win us over again. For anyone near Richmond it's a great place for an amazing array of steaks and a definite visit if you haven't already. Great food, great team, great atmosphere just a shame there isn't any parking near by."

"we have no dog, but love coming to this dog friendly caffe. it is so convenient when you go for a walk directly at bushy park. they make a delicious breakfast and beautiful milkshakes. my favorite thing on the menu personally is the sourdough toast with avocado or the brie and cranberry panini. louise (the owner) is really friendly and always for a good chat and the staff are friendly and welcoming. it is definitiw my favorite café in the opposite. I've been here since it opened and will continue to do this!"

"Tiffany is absolutely amazing. Even with everything going on, she still makes a pub environment feel safe and enjoyable. It is so nice to see someone take so much pride in what they do to keep a business going. There is not a bad word i could say about this pub. Everything is clean and tidy, even prior to COVID, it has always been the way here with her running it. For the food, what can i say.... i have never had a bad meal here, Friday night, cant beat the nachos, Sunday, i cant say i have ever had a better roast in a pub/restaurant. As for the AJ pies, if you haven’t had one, you NEED to try one. All in all, i would highly recommend this pub, wether it is for food or drink. All staff are so friendly and welcoming, but Tiffany is by far is the best manager of a pub i have come across and there is never a dull moment being here."

"To start with, they have a really pretty beer garden. Love it! The dining are is quite cosy and not very spacious so not very suitable to bring little children. Other than that, perfect for chilling with friends over a couple of pints!"

"We have been to Corto before and the food has always been great and the service friendly. However, I would advise against going on a busy Saturday. My husband and I visited today and got there at 2pm. The rugby was on at Twickenham so the whole street was very busy. We were told that it would take five or so minutes to get a table and be served and we were fine with that, particularly as it was a busy day. After sitting down we had to get our own menus and then call the waiter after 20 mins of waiting. We ordered a water and a beer (in addition to food) but were given a beer and a coke. Food did not arrive and at 3pm I asked if we were still getting it. 18 mins later when our order was given to a table that arrived at least 40 mins after us, we got up to pay for the beer and leave. The waiter had no clue what had happened and someone inside eventually said sorry and gave us the beer on the house. This place always has good food but they can't cope with a busy weekend. This is not the first time service has been slow the last time it was also a sunny Saturday (but not a rugby day). I fully appreciate it will take time to be served and for food to be prepared when it is busy, especially on a rugby day. However, what I cannot understand is 1) why one couple that arrived after us received their food, ate it and paid for it before we'd received ours 2) when our food finally came it was given to a table that arrived 40 mins after us and 3) why the place could not manage customer expectations. If you're busy then tell customers that they should not expect to receive food within an hour, or get their order taken within 15 mins. Manage expectations! Its not difficult and then at least customers know perhaps its not a good time to eat at Corto."

"This is the first time we have visited this year and we have been pleasantly surprised. We started off with a crisp pint of Aspalls, clean lines and glasses. Delicious. Then we weighed up where to move to for food. Spotted the new menu and could not help ourselves but to test what we felt were the best bits. Absolutely delighted with the Drunken Prawns, Calamari with Pineapple salsa, Ham Hock Terrine, Courgette and Broad Bean, fries and a Chicken Schnitzel. Struggling to pick a favourite but if you judge it by which dishes involved us pushing each other’s fingers away, it would have to be the Calamari. There was definite finger fighting going on. Well worth a visit. Too full to choose other dishes to try, will absolutely return."

"My friends and I went to this restaurant for a pre-Christmas dinner. We enjoyed a delicious burrata and chicken liver pate as starters. I ordered the mushroom risotto for my main course, which was excellent. However, we were disappointed to find out that we had to pay £10 to park our car, as there was no information about this until we were leaving the car park after our meal. This fee seemed excessive and left a negative impression on us."

"Possibly the worst meal and experience I’ve EVER had in any restaurant and I’ve lived in 4 major cities. Don’t be fooled by the decor from the outside and within, that’s where I feel comfortable with giving the 1 star rating. The food served was poor quality meats and unfresh seafood. The wine was so bad we had to send it back — twice. The restaurant looks great outside and in, the decor is perfect however the staff look so dated in their white shirts, aprons and comedy ties all different styles, lengths sizes. I think this old school look doesn’t reflect your restaurant decor at all. The place felt soulless, the staff didn’t seem happy to be there which I feel is possibly a rippling effect from poor management. However mangers looked fed up and flustered too. We were told it was so so busy, so they were sorry for the wait but I have to say, not the busiest restaurant it was 9.30pm, so most tables had eaten or left. A poor excuse to cover up for lack of hospitality experience. Safe to say we won’t be back!"

"This restaurant has become our family's favorite spot, and we come here a couple of times a week. The excellent coffee is a must-try, and the simple breakfast items are exceptional. We also love the decor and music in the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of our children. This place is a must-visit."

"you would not know that there is a thai restaurant right behind the pub. it is not really obvious that it is a hidden gem in the southwest londons! I would not conclude that the food they serve are extremely authentic. Thai food, like the last time that I was actually in Thai at least more than 10 years ago to be exact, I was in bangkok airport (and I had Thai food there), but it doesn't count. wait until I go to Thailand, then I will judge. then again some people have suggested this place and think that it is not too bad (UK standard)"

"When I lived in twickenham, until June 2020 I returned to live in Italy, I went regularly to have breakfast. very kind and friendly staff, great choice between eating and drinking and quiet atmosphere. in October 2021 I returned for a weekend in London and my first stop was to have breakfast again from zizou, I was given a great and warm welcome and the service and wine were always excellent! Thank you very much."

"such a nice staff! boonie and nicoleta were so amazing employees! we were so well looked after, one of the most positive experiences I had in richmond. the staff was so efficient, attentive and so friendly! we did the groundless brunch as a group of three. the personal was so courteous. To be honest, one of the best experiences I had in richmond, even london. if they are looking for a brunch with friends, this is the best place!"

"we booked this restaurant before phone and when we stopped, we refused to book. they could not fit us in and it was Mother's Day, so it was difficult to find an alternative at short notice. this time I booked through open table to avoid the same happening again. when we arrived, they had no record of our booking! but because they were not busy, they gave us a table. we asked about the dessert option of a milk-free child, and they said they had none. When I asked if we could have a reduction on the price of the child meal, they went away and came back to say that they actually have mango sorbet. the cheese on the pizzas that were ordered for both adults was not very nice and we were disappointed by our meal. overall they seem quite disorganized and eating is not good enough to overlook this. therefore I would not recommend this restaurant."

"Took my mum to this restaurant in Richmond and we had a really nice evening. When we first arrived our outdoor table booking was not available but Mike very kindly sorted us out and we got the table we booked. Throughout the evening we got really great attention from the very friendly staff and they made our evening. We had the steak and fries and the ice cream from the 2 course menu. The steak is very thin and nothing special but the fries and ice cream were excellent and overall we felt it was good value for money."

"this restaurant, as I had seen during unlocking positive reviews on a local Facebook group about their hygiene and safety as well as some enthusiastic reviews of eating. 100% recommended. the food was fantastic, full of taste and came hot and fresh. (not overheated to appear hot when delivery as some places) the sweet dishes had taken so much care about them as the meat dishes and the portions were generous. very cheap! the delivery forecast of the delivery time was accurate and for longer most was definitiw the wait worth, and both the staff and the delivery driver were very friendly, although they were clearly busy. in any case order again thanks to youngs!"
