"We chose the Greyhound for our family Christmas celebration based on previous experiences with AWT in the kitchen and Jane front of house. However our experience this time under new management was awful! While the food was still of a decent standard the service was diabolical! 2 of our party were 20 minutes late for the early sitting and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel under pressure to eat and get out. The manager consistently seemed flustered and the final straw came when at the end of the main course without request the bill was just plonked on the table without any offer of desert or coffees! We were also there a few weeks ago and had a similar experience in terms of service but gave the benefit of the doubt that it was just a one off, but clearly not. I’ve never eaten anywhere that would show this level of disrespect or rudeness and will not return until management has changed. Fortunately there are plenty of options in the area and I can’t see this place surviving while the current management are in place."
