"On a long trip back to GB from Spain stayed in Rouen with the idea of looking for a nice typical French restaurant for our last holiday meal. My fault should have researched, as we all ended up here with the hope that we would be pleasantly surprised - we weren't. The waitress and staff were pleasant enough, we arrived at 8 pm, got our drinks at 8.10 (Cokes - no ice or lemon) put up with that, 8.20 still no sign of waitress, 8.35 she re appeared took order. Great to watch everyone else get their food and leave. Now I know the meal should be a slow relaxing experience, taking in the ambience, enjoying the conversation, but come on this is fast food! watching the video loop on 2 TV's which I couldn't avoid at all, became akin to subliminal advertising, my daughter and I laughed at how we knew all the restaurants and offers off by heart. 9 pm getting rattled, my family know me well so warned them if not here by 9.15 would get quite loud. However 9.05 food rolled up, to be fair apart from burger being warm and not hot - not bad seemed good quality mince steak, however my wife's chilli was microwaved only warm, returned this no apology just re zapped. Not impressed. Come on France you can do better than this!"
