"we've been to la vieille maison three times. at the second opportunity we took my brother and his wife with us and they shaved about eating, the service and the place. They had spent the previous part of their holiday in bordeaux...and had argued to find a good restaurant, they like that we did not praise our host enough and find a point, andy to thank him personally. last week we went with some friends living in the opposite and having a favorite restaurant in aubeterre until last week they said they had never been in a restaurant in France where they had eaten everything on the menu. the level of eating here is excellent, the choice and selection of eating great, combined with a very friendly ambiente and brilliant hosting, what more they want."
