"Fortune House has proven to be a true culinary gem with its exceptional Chinese cuisine. Our dining experience at this establishment left us in awe of the delightful flavors and impeccable service. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly, setting the tone for a memorable evening. Appetizers: We started our culinary journey with a selection of appetizers that included Prawn Crackers and Salt and Pepper Chicken. The Prawn Crackers were crisp, light, and had a wonderful prawn flavor, making them an excellent start to our meal. The Salt and Pepper Chicken was a delight for our taste buds crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with the perfect balance of seasoning that left us craving for more. Main Course: Moving on to the main course, we ordered the Crispy Chilly Beef and King Prawn Chowmein. The Crispy Chilly Beef was a showstopper! The beef was fried to perfection and coated in a delectable blend of spices, offering an explosion of flavors with each bite. The dish had just the right amount of spiciness, which added to its charm. As for the King Prawn Chowmein, it was a masterful combination of succulent prawns, perfectly cooked noodles, and an array of fresh vegetables. The flavors melded together seamlessly, making this dish a standout. Crispy Duck: One of the highlights of our meal was undoubtedly the Crispy Duck. The duck was flawlessly cooked, with a crispy and golden skin that encased tender, succulent meat. Served with pancakes and a variety of condiments, assembling each mouth watering bite was a joy. The richness of the duck was beautifully complemented by the accompanying sauces, resulting in an explosion of flavors that left us mesmerized. Overall Experience: Fortune House not only impressed us with its delectable cuisine but also with its attentive and friendly staff. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The dishes were served promptly, and the presentation was visually appealing, indicative of the care and attention to detail put into each creation. In conclusion, our dining experience at Fortune House was exceptional. The Salt and Pepper Chicken, Crispy Duck, Prawn Crackers, Crispy Chilly Beef, and King Prawn Chowmein were all outstanding dishes that surpassed our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and flavorful Chinese culinary experience. Fortune House truly lives up to its name, delivering a fortune of delightful flavors!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed coming here today, I definitely like the carpark system punch in your registration and you won't get charged for parking as long as your in the pub. Me and the wife ordered pub lunch, for starters we had soup of the day which was coriander soup and chicken wings, followed by the main which was, I ordered liver and onions with mash and gravy and veg, the wife ordered fish and chips washed down with a glass of Prosecco and a pint of lager shandy. The place was nice and clean there was a few customers also eating and the staff were very pleasant. I will definitely be coming back. Came back today with the in-laws for another great meal i had chicken wings starter with salad and barbecue sauce, followed by the mixed grill with pepper corn sauce. Washed down with a lager shandy. The ladies had chicken wing starter and the son inlaw had chicken guggons, the ladies had fish and chips main and the son inlaw had lamb chops. Once again everything came nice and presented. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The ladies had a bottle of Prosecco with there meal and the son inlaw had a pint of lager. I never have a sweet but the ladies ordered cheesecake with ice cream. Again that was nicely presented. Once again little b you done us proud thoroughly enjoyed our day and would like to thank the staff for a lovely service. PS I hope I don't get a bill for using the carpark, your in-house computer wasn't working, therefore I couldn't put my car registration in. Came here Friday afternoon for pub lunch with the wife. It was good to see the carpark system was backup running again. We walked into the pub and upto the bar to punch in my car details. Whilst at the bar we ordered our drinks white wine for the wife and lager shandy for myself. We found a nice spot in the corner where we sat, whilst looking at the menu. A lady waitress came over and asked us were we ready to order. I said yes and ordered a mix grill, the wife ordered fish and chips. The lady waitress who took the order came back over to apologise to the wife, apparently there was no more fish, would you have scampi instead to which my wife said okay. I notice the waitress name on her badge, Nikita. When the food came out it was nicely presented and hot. We ordered another round off drinks, same again. I noticed the pub was getting busy as the day wore on. Once again great service Nikita was very polite, she couldn't do enough for us and again she did apologise for not having the fish. Overall a great afternoon, a good atmosphere will definitely be coming back. Thanks for everything the Little B."

"TGI Fridays at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre is located just outside the Manchester Arndale, opposite Boots on Cross Street so is in an ideal location for hungry shoppers in the city centre, or those just out and about in Manchester. I've visited this TGI Fridays a couple of times now over the past couple of years, and I always seem to have issues, with this place not meeting the regular TGI Fridays standards at all, compared to nearby locations in Prestwich, Cheadle and The Trafford Centre, which are very good. The interior is dark, but they've tried to make it pretty cool with the large TGI Fridays writing on the wall, the motorbike at the front, and the number of booths. It's pretty large inside too, so there are plenty of tables, as it's the only TGI Fridays in the city centre with the Piccadilly Station one closing, this is useful. One thing which has remained consistent over the years and with other TGI Fridays is that a manager must take my order as I have an allergy, but this even included drinks it felt annoying to be separated from the rest of my party when I wanted anything. On my most recent visit, I had the New York Strip steak with a Long Island Iced Tea, I do think the steak is a little pricey for a non specialist chain, and for the quality. When it came, it was very tough, dry and fatty, even though I ordered it to be medium, so it wasn't a very good cut of steak at all. Both steak sauces also contain gluten, so I had to order BBQ sauce, which tasted great with the fries... but the steak not so much. The Long Island was good though, and the foam on the top was unlike most I've had before. They have regular offers on the cocktails too via their loyalty scheme, making it easy to get one for free or at a reduced price near and then. The mobile signal in the restaurant is also non existent, despite it being fine just outside, so I'm not sure why that is, there is WiFi though which works after you fill in the tedious form. The staff seemed nice enough and did apologise for being unable to assist with my order due to company policy. 2* The staff are friendly enough and the drinks are good, that's pretty much it, I wouldn't come back for food but I wouldn't rule out returning for drinks only."
