"a delicious place in a fairy place. I've often been through a guamass and all of them have escaped this discreet place, from cosy houses and adoquinado floor that retrotracts to one another time. the establishment is an old house conditioned as a restaurant, and they have achieved it, with several rooms and rustic appearance offering a cozy place. there is a small interior dining room and a terrace. We ate on the terrace perfectly garrisoned on a day of rain and cold that was minimized by the awning, the stove and the wood elements everywhere. the place is clean and the volunteer service. assortment of dishes for two: a croquette of merluza of incoming (which invited us for a mistake in kitchen); a chickpeas; a cod in tomato sauce accompanied by a sheet of boniato - the best dish-; and some meatballs in a very appetizing vegetable sauce with a very homely flavor. There is an offer of Canarian wines and the rest of the state, but my companion preferred red wine from the house, which was very acceptable according to its drop. dessert, a few different desserts of homemade processing. We chose to share an apple pie and vanilla ice cream, very acceptable. Good coffee. In short, a highly recommended place with an offer where the seasonal products of the establishment itself stand out. the kitchen in sight and a very friendly staff. the price seemed very correct and at the height of what is eaten. a place that deserves the five stars, with only two buts: a frozen bread that is not up to the site, and very discreet chickpeas."

"From outside the appearance was deceptive, I and some british friends were brought to the restaurant after asking a canarian friend to take us to a typical Canarian' restaurant. On arrival I thought what is this, it looked like an old wharehouse on the back...road from the North Airport to La Laguna. However inside was very rustic and somewhat like one would imagine a farmhouse kitchen to be. Hence its name La Granja the farm. The menu was indeed typical Canarian and I would advise a good dictionary or a local friend to translate, as it is a restaurant mainly directed at a local clientel, with some local dishes that defy most dictionaries to translate, but are delicious. The kitchen appears to use only local fresh vegetables. The local wines with the meal were also of good quality both the house Red White being very drinkable and complemented the food well. The wine I must say kept flowing as we ate so it is very advisable to have a designated driver' for the run back to wherever you are staying. The Owner Manager Waiter was very helpful and was only to happy to explain the various dishes, however only in Spanish, and was most concerned that we got what we ordered cooked as we wanted. One feels that if one wanted somthing not on the menu, it could be arranged if the constituant parts were available and time permitted. Meat was cooked as we ordered it, rare well done etc., one could say almost to perfection. The Canarian Stews, for which the islands are famous, were wonderful. Do try Ranch Canario if it's avaiable, or the various dishes of chick peas (Garbanzas) or lentils (lentijas). I would advise ordering one starter per person and one main course per person and then in the Canarian fashion putting the dishes in the middle of the table and sharing, a very good and socialbe way of dining. A Dinner for persons with drinks etc came to very good value indeed."
