"It was not a very good experience unfortunately. To start with, there was no physical menu or QR code, so the service had to rely on an Instagram page that then links to a pdf with the menu (bad lettering choice that can barely be read). Despite the meal having good quality, I felt the owners of the service cared more about upselling then attending the clients need. The table is too small, it can barely fit all the items you order (two dishes, 2 glasses of beer, 2 glasses of water and two bottles). It really feels like you didn't have space to move your hands at the risk of dropping any item. The waiters were too relaxed, some sitting at a table next to us, others socialising with customers, while me and my partner waiting to be attended. Then we were waiting for the bill. We waited for so long, that I had to stand up and walk to the counter (we were sitting outside), despite having pain on my foot, because unfortunately I had had an accident that day. After 3 calls the owner comes with an informal bill of 54euros with no paper, saying he would give us a discount of 4 euros. I don't understand how it was so expensive in a small town in south of Italy, 2 burgers of 12 euros, plus a beer of 9 euros and a dessert shared for two. How does that sum up to 54 euros? Were they including the licor they offered on the house? (I clearly asked if they offered, because I didn't asked for any of that). I won't go there anymore"

"my husband and I, together with our 3-year-old child and our average dog, stayed at the cereto, booking for 5 days, with full board. the venerd, for, we asked to stay a day ahead and the request was met without problems, despite it was a decision of the last minute. we chose this place for our holidays because eager for tranquility in contact with nature. and the deer we found. the structure surrounded by greenery, in a vast and well-kept garden, away from noises of all kinds, ideal place for us, but especially for our daughter and our dog. we could park the car in front of our room. in the wooden house entrusted to us there was the essential, everything we really needed: a double bed, a small cot for the baby, bathroom and a small refrigerator. every morning the room was cleaned, the beds were arranged and the towels changed to need. very good and plentiful cuisine, homemade, varied. every evening, after having communicated to us the menu provided, they made us have different dishes, with local products and also attentive to any intolerances. the greater wealth we could enjoy in our short holiday was the welcoming and familiar climate that the owners and the rest of the staff created. daily chats, tips on destinations and itineraries and a smile assured (even in the morning, when the girl of breakfast you needed with a nice smile, kindness and helpfulness to us who like dogs so much, the presence of the owners dogs, left free, state an added value: the reception committee not only welcomed us, but he made us company asking us every day a coconut in more or something to fool. experience more than positive."

"We ate at this restaurant in June during the celebratory lunch for my god child,s first communion. The service and the food were excellent and nothwithstanding the restaurant had at least another 180 guests the service was not slow but well paced. Obviously the menu was chose by the family but from all those surrounding us I could see that the quality and the bounty of our plates was reflected in all the other diners menus. We started with prosecco and some pizza balls, then onto a very traditional and varied starter made up of cold cuts, cheese and hot vegetable dishes we also had lasagne made by a lady who was over 70 years of age so tradition and the portions where nothing short of huge!! I cannot eat gluten so the head waiter made sure I had another portion of parma ham and some grilled vegetables instead. We had mixed grill after this with mixed vegetables and salad and then to our surprise a serving of grilled and fried fish with potatoes and again mixed grilled vegetables. Fresh apple sorbet, desert and the cake and then sparkling wine and coffee with a digestive for who could fit it in. This was a lovely celebration but the food is excellent even out of special bookings they have a great traditional menu and also their pizza is made the old fashioned way with a dough that rises for 48 hours before preparation. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food at a good price and a nice service style set in a traditional setting with no frills. Thank you for a lovely day Rita and Gennaro Santo Stefano del Sole, Avellino"
