"I came here in June for the first time . We had a lovely meal, the food, ambiance and service was all good. We decided to come again for my birthday last night. Totally different experience. we were a party of 7, we all had a cocktail to begin with we ordered a starter and a main course each. Initially 2 of the starters came out, we thought this was odd, but didn’t say anything as we were hoping the others would come out eventually. They didn’t Then all the main courses and the other starters came out all together for some reason. We said to them that we would prefer to eat our starters before we eat the main courses and could they take the main courses away for now. They did They then bought the mains out, clearly they had been sat around in the kitchen for half an hour, the lobster was tough and tasteless. I usually order lobster when I want to treat myself and it was the worst I had ever eaten. 2 others in my party said the same, my niece had to spit hers into a napkin as she had been chewing and chewing it. My nephew had a wagu burger and was not impressed, he left some , very unusual for him. We spoke to staff and the manager about the issues we were having, there were some apologies but also that defensiveness that you sometimes get. We asked for a discount on the bill as we were so unhappy. They gave us a bottle of house cava and 1 tiramisu that we hadn’t asked for . We were told that nothing would come off the bill and that we had received these free items. We didn’t drink the cava or eat the tiramisu. Overall really unhappy with the experience. The restaurant is not cheap and we expected a high quality . We understand things can go wrong in restaurants but it’s the way that the restaurant choose to deal with the issues which is key. We have been to some amazing restaurants in the Costa brava, this was the worst experience so far. We will not go back to this restaurant. The bill was around €550 and we would’ve happily paid this for a proper experience with delicious food. We had to pay for a substandard meal. Very disappointed"
