"What do the British do best,a Sunday Roast,so while on holiday, why not.!! After putting out for a recommendation a lot of people said about the Bulls Head, we'd been past but never tried. We arrived around 7pm,family of five, lucky it wasn't to busy,so we...found a table that suited, lucky as it soon started to fill up. The old guy(sorry didn't get his name) came put, eventually with the menus, taking our drinks order while we chose,as it was Sunday, a roast it was to be,choice of either beef or turkey.,along with the usual acomponing selection of vegetables, potatoes Yorkshire pudding, plus gravy of course. I chose the 2 course of main dessert, the wife daughter hah the prawn cocktail main, along with a children's roast, plus a sausage with chip's. As I mentioned, it was getting busy,so we had to wait a little bit longer than I'd normally expect food to be served I work in the food trade myself, for me it wasn't a problem, I think another couple of waiting on staff, you'd get the food out a little quicker. Besides that, the starters were top notch, plenty of prawns,so after another wait, our food finally arrived, well worth the wait,a plate full of Sunday Roast,we all went for the Turkey as you can see from the pictures you get it all,the vegetables were firm, not over cooked, mash had flavour, roasts, just as I'd do myself. All I can say is,it was a clean plate from me,even had room for the apple pie custard.. Overall, what a great meal, the place looks a little bit tired from the outside, but as they say, never judge a book by it's cover...Sunday Roast 5"

"We visited this restaurant on our friends last night, so it was a bit of a goodbye special occasion. I'll split my review into 2 parts The food. My burger was good, the presentation was fine and the meat had a good flavour. My wife had the same and had the same view. My friend had the piri chicken and again thought is okay but not fantastic. The kids had chicken nuggets and chips and they must have loved it as there was nothing left on either plate. One of our party had the skewers. Unfortunately, the menu was unclear and whilst she clearly asked for chicken skewers, she received 3 meat skewers (chicken, pork and steak). To be fair the menu does refer to all 3 but all our party thought you chose a single meat not got a skewer with 3 meats on and this was not explained when the order was placed. In the end they did exchange for a chicken dish. Service. I always accept there is a language barrier and I have to hold my hand up I should make an effort to at least learn some Spanish and haven't. Here though I don't think it was a language barrier I think our waitress was just rude. It was made a real issue about the skewers dish and she was quite rude when she brought the replacement dish. It may have coloured our view of the food but eating out is about the whole experience. Another lady came over to check if our party was okay and she was very nice but really it was too late. Oh just to note too the kids food arrived a few minutes after the adults which to be honest isn't great, especially as it was only nuggets and chips. I won't be going back."
