"Lovely evening out at La Tabella. Food was delicious and service fabulous. Nice friendly ambiance. Great choice on menu. My daughter loved the sloppy Joe and chips option. Portion was huge. My rugby playing son was very jealous. I went for more traditional seafood pasta dish which was delicious. Again good portion size. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning soon."

"Wonderful cocktail bar that actually has staff that can make proper old fashioned cocktails in their correct glasses and correct garnishes who know what a julep is or a zombie, as a classically taught butler in my former profession it is refreshing to see we both had one myself an alcohol free one, and had a wonderful vegetarian meal served by staff who are considerate polite and engaging and warm, we've met so many warm people up here as we've gone up the west coast but here they were wonderful who knew how to look after people a pleasure really was you can see the debased classical obelisck and the arches of the war memorial lit up by light from the windows it had been a wonderful warm bank holiday weekend and it had only just started but after a walk on the pier both of us in the sunset the lights looked lovely from the windows of the bistro. Nice place well looked after appointed and well sticked with mixes and liqueres vital for a good cocktail both of us really recommend here it was perfect before we walked back to our hotel."

"What a fantastic restaurant! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We opted for the Thursday Madness deal, which included two main dishes and a bottle of house wine for just £22.15—a fantastic bargain. I had the mixed grill that featured steak, pork steak, gammon steak, two sausages, black pudding, eggs, grilled tomatoes, vegetables, and a large serving of chips. My wife enjoyed the chicken stroganoff, which was absolutely delicious. Everything was served hot and fresh. I highly recommend this place—it's definitely a must-visit in Southport!"

"Heard so many excellent reviews about this place I thought I 'd pop in and see what all the fuss is about. And I wasn 't disappointed. My GP has given me some tips lately, like leave the sugar out of your tea and seek the places that serve gluten free bread so I consider myself something of a fussy eater. None of which fazed the staff here in any way, shape or form. They had gluten free toast readily to hand and never batted an eyelid at my request for honey in my tea. But everything I 'd read about their Full English Breakfast turned out to be true. It was delicious. And the staff really pride themselves on their warmth and their ability to be helpful. Jen has perhaps the warmest smile and kindest nature in Southport. If I was being a nuisance with my camera (and I usually am) she never showed me anything except her huge and ready smile, and it was such a joy to be treated with such appreciation and kindness. The word of mouth reviews all call this place one of Southport 's hidden gems and I can understand why. I really will be back, if only because the lunch menu looks even better than the incredible breakfast. And the welcome that Peter, Jen and Katrina offer is stunning. "Wir lieben Frankie und Bennys, die leider in Barrow geschlossen sind. Wir hatten einen Groupon-Gutschein, also war es das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir saßen dort, wo wir wollten und wurden von Lauren auf höchstem Niveau betreut. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Pommes waren ziemlich kalt, aber der Rest des Essens war sehr gut. "The food is amazing at Hache House, I had the Canadian and my bf had the American and we couldn't fault IT. Our only concern was the service it felt very understaffed and although the manager was there she didn't really appear to be getting stuck in! The poor lad on the bar was inundated with cocktail orders and didn't know the menu whether it was lack of practice or what I'm not sure but the drinks took forever to come. The waiter we did have though was lovely however his colleague seemed away with the fairies and not really involved in what he was doing. But like I said if they possibly had another member of staff it probably would have been better. You can't fault the food though."
