"First time visitors .... and last! We ordered the veggie mezza to start which was described as a sharing platter. This consisted of half pitta bread sliced, half carrot, one broccoli spear, 4 or 5 slices of pepper and not much more. Two of the accompanying dips were fine. The third can only be described as inedible ... as agreed by all four diners. Mains arrived. The fish dishes ordered were all tasty however, two of the group were vegetarian and chose a chicory and goats cheese tart which upon arrival looked most unappetising. Over cooked, dry and miserable definitely not worth the £13 price tag. Upon complaining this was exchanged for a cauliflower cheese soup which was described as mediocre and bland. We chose one dessert to share, which, to be fair, was very good. In addition, as one of our party was going to be later arriving, we had asked for the main dishes to be served at a specific time and had requested this well in advance) this was forgotten and all main dishes arrived early, way before the final member of the party had arrived ! Whilst the waiting staff were sympathetic to our complaints and understanding at no point was any attempt made by the management to come forward and apologise or make any attempt to improve our customer experience. Very disappointing evening. Will not recommend or return."
