"To put it simply, the food was delicious, and the friendly staff too good care of us. We dined here because one member of our party wanted steak tartare, so The House of Beef fit the bill. She enjoyed her tartare immensely. Another in our party ordered the beef cheeks which had been cooked for four hours in a wine sauce. The ample portion provided tastes to all of us. The meat was tender, unctuous, and flavorful. I ordered the burger, and the lucious ground meat made for a wonderful filling in a toasted brioche bun. The fries cooked in beef tallow were crispy. We drank a full bodied local wine that was the perfect accompaniment to our mains. We are only in Saint Rémy for three weeks, but I would like to return to try other items on their menu."
